Chaos above the clouds
Hello friends
These days in my community I've been dealing with unbearable daytime temperatures, even now as I'm trying to finalize the post (11:30pm) it's 29 degrees (I don't have air conditioning because it's not good for me).
Today's post will be about the worst flight I've had so far, I have to tell you that I've flown many times and I really like to fly by plane, it's my favorite means of transportation.
You know what's weird, my worst flight wasn't my first flight.
We wanted very much to visit the capital of Belgium, Brussels, so we took advantage of the low ticket prices for this destination and immediately bought two tickets on a low cost airline.
The flight was from the capital of Romania (Bucharest) to the capital of Belgium (Brussels), I honestly didn't check the weather conditions when we were there, but there was no problem, we found what to do even if it was raining.
Everything went smoothly, I'm talking about check-in, boarding from Bucharest, nothing let us understand what would happen during the flight.
It all started when the captain announced to fasten our seatbelts because we were going through a turbulent area.
I honestly can't remember which country we were over when the turbulence started, it was so strong that even the flight attendants were in their seats with their seat belts fastened.
The time has passed quickly and already the captain announces that in a few minutes we will land at Charleroi airport, but let's keep our seatbelts fastened as the weather conditions are bad, not exactly good for a landing.
I had the exact window seat, honestly the storm that I saw on the airplane's porthole I had only seen in horror movies.
The airplane was making some strange noises, I had the feeling that the airplane was going to break in two, I remember there were some ladies in the seats behind me crying, at one point even screaming, a tense atmosphere in the airplane.
From their seats, the flight attendants were telling us that everything was fine and that everything was going to be fine, even though we could see that it wasn't.
The pressure on the passengers on the plane was even greater when the plane almost reached the runway, but for some reason took off again, so the landing attempt failed, you can imagine there were still a few minutes of terror until the second attempt when the pilot managed to bring the plane safely to the ground.
In the end after all the craziness above the clouds we managed to reach the ground safe and that's how we experienced some more delicate situations, anyway I really appreciated the professionalism of the pilots.
THE END!
