Fame, glory or curse?
Nothing changes your opinion of a friend more than success - yours or theirs. - Franklin Jones
I read this weekend's engagement very carefully, they all make very good points on important topics, but I stopped on one of the engagement, "Famous or not", God, there is so much to develop here, but come on, let me try to summarize the main ideas as I see them.
In my conception fame is something we cannot touch but many of us dream of it, dream of tasting it, at least experiencing it a little, but unfortunately only an extremely small percentage get to taste fame.
Now, let's face it, who wouldn't want to be famous, even for a little while?
But what would it mean to be famous?
First of all, the word fame means wealth, money, to have everything, not to lack anything, and most importantly to be well known.
Fame can also be a big challenge, why I say this, when you are known by a lot of people, you will find it quite hard to lead a normal life, you will always have to hide or pay other people to do your job which forces you to go out in public to avoid being mobbed by fans.
As an aside I want to tell you that a while ago I had a dream, I saw myself as a great vlogger, I saw myself with a tripod camera in my hand filming the places I visit (I still haven't given up the idea, I even made a youtube account but I didn't upload videos) and here I am writing blogs, hehe.
Until you are famous no one wants to take a picture with you or ask you for an autograph or all sorts of requests, being a simple person you can sleep on a bench in the park with your shopping done at the market next to you without anyone bothering you.
Now to come back to the idea of being a famous vlogger (that would mean millions of subscribers, collaborations, advertisements) in this case it is extremely hard to live your life normally, even when you stand at a traffic light there will be someone who wants a picture with you (this I can tell you from what I have seen happen in Romania), sometimes fans or supporters get extremely violent to stand next to you for a second or take a picture with you.
Fame can also mean giving up your private life with friends, family, you end up sitting alone by the sea one night and wondering if you still want this bug called fame or you want your normal life back.
Fame is extremely hard to maintain, to be up there at the top all the time you have to make improvements in the field that made you famous, this is a difficult thing when you compete with other famous people, any small mistake can be fatal.
In conclusion on this topic if you ask me I personally am somewhere in the middle on the question ,, Famous or not,,.
On the one hand I would like to taste this dream(I have to admit), to see what it is like, which will probably remain an enigma for me, and on the other hand I like my current life as it is, with good and bad, but at least I know I can move freely, I can go out with friends or family, I can have a private life.
Do you think fame is for everyone?
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
