One road, one dream, no barriers
Hello to all those who this weekend chose to visit my post today.
And this time I am very pleased to share with you one of my activities that I do on the weekends, I know that many of you when you think of the weekend you think of relaxing with your family, a hike in nature, a visit to a concert or any other activity where you can socialize with many people, a fishing trip, the beach but this weekend I left aside these activities and chose to do something else, something different, I know it may sound strange to you, but I actually combine the useful with the pleasant.
In a world where time seems to be speeding up, in a world where cultural and especially ethnic differences have taken a course not exactly in the right direction, this is where we can intervene by getting involved, raising awareness, collaborating in order to reduce these differences.
Yes, I know you don't really understand what I'm referring to, but let me explain more to the point.
Here in western Romania, we have quite a few rrom’s(Gypsy) communities, who may or may not manage to integrate into society or the communities they belong to (not to be racist).
Now I am very curious how many of you have met these rrom’s (Gypsies) from Romania in your cities?
Now back to the community here in western Romania, today two categories of rrom’s live here, the first category are those who are very rich and the second category are those who have not had much luck and are very poor (living from day to day).
As for the first category of rrom’s very well established here in the community, they have developed a certain concept, including in the way they built their houses, all their houses follow a certain pattern, as big as possible, with turrets and many other details.
I will leave you here some pictures of the houses of these rrom’s who are doing very well in their community.
Moreover, everything must be gilded.
But today I don't want to talk about them, I want to talk about my work this weekend and I will also bring up these rrom’s in the second category.
I would like to start by telling you that I participate in a team that helps these rrom’s to integrate into the community, to find jobs, to help their families to get better.
And here comes my answer to this weekend's writing suggestions, my activity this weekend is to participate with a fantastic team in the professional training of these rrom’s (Gypsies) so that they can easily integrate into the community.
All our actions are financially supported by the EU (European Union) and in some cases by the Romanian government.
Just yesterday (Friday) I went to a meeting in a neighbouring commune to the one where I live just to discuss some future projects that we will be able to implement this year for all categories of people, not only for rrom’s, I am convinced that we will do amazing things here in the community.
Not to brag, but I'd like to introduce you to one of this team's projects in 2023.
In 2023 together with an NGO we had the good fortune to meet LEE (an Englishman who decided he wanted to do something in Romania), last year he set up a factory here in western Romania where he produces leather bags (the bags are unique) and something even more sensational, namely he produces women's bags from apple peels (have you ever heard of this concept).
The satisfaction of the team is enormous when we think that at LEE's factory work only rrom’s who have been professionally trained through our program.
I can't wait for a future post to show you LEE's factory where he produces unique bags that he sells in Europe.
Dear all this is my activity this weekend and my posting has come to an end.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
