The taste of my childhood touched by my Personal Chef
Cooking is like love: you have to be totally committed or not at all. - Harriet van Horne
Hello everyone
I hope you are well, I can't wait to see your engagement experiences this weekend and look forward to seeing how far your imaginations go.
Instead, today I want to write a few lines about what my life would be like if I had a personal chef, and yes, I would really like one, now don't think that my wife and I don't know how to cook or that we don't like to cook, on the contrary, we really like to experiment with many new recipes and cook them together.
Why would I want a personal chef?
The reason is a simple one, to revive my grandparents' recipes, for this you need to be a chef with enough experience in the field and especially in the old Romanian cuisine.
Just a few days ago my wife and I cooked such a simple but very tasty recipe, an easy summer recipe that I remembered my mother and my grandmother used to cook on hot summer days.
I'm sure there are people who would like a personal chef so they can experience at home more international cuisines or simple recipes transformed into something spectacular, it could be an advantage to have someone to take us to the heights of exceptional tastes.
Or if there are people who care about their figure, a personal chef would be the most suitable, he would know exactly what and how much a balanced recipe should contain, but we could also have the advantage of saving time, the chef would spend minutes or hours in the kitchen, and when we get home the food is ready just ready to be served.
Yes, we can draw many conclusions about the personal chef, to something perfect, time saving, to take us to the heights of amazing tastes, but I don't need a personal chef for that, I would need a personal chef strictly to bring back to life many old recipes from the Romanian cuisine to be able to relive those extraordinary moments, to remember the most delicious recipes of my grandmother or my mother.
If he could do this he could be the ideal chef.
Now if you allow me I will present in a few words a simple recipe and show you why I made this choice.
The recipe cooked with my wife is called ,,Ghiveci,, it was cooked by my mother more than 15 years ago and more than 20 years ago by my grandmother, now we did our best to make it just like then but honestly the tastes are unfortunately not the same although I used ingredients from my garden.
The ingredients are simple, onions, tomatoes, garlic, bell peppers and a teaspoon of olive oil, all put in the same pot and cooked over low heat.
I'll attach a few photos of the cooking phases to arrive at a spectacular recipe
My garden smiles when I visit it.
The final product enjoyed with pickled cucumbers and a piece of fresh bread.
I'm hoping that what I've written here relates to this weekend's engagement and I'm curious if any of my followers or visitors know of this recipe.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
