Hello dear hivers
My aunt has come to Venezuela for a visit, and we decided to take her for a little walk, taking into account that she had not been here for 7 years and many things have changed since she left.
We decided to go here in anzoategui to a series of stalls that are located in "la calle del hambre". As the name says, it is a rather small street with several stalls around it with all kinds of food. This is usually cheaper than a restaurant thanks to being food stalls in a not so luxurious area.
After looking at the food places for a while, we decided with my family to eat at "che parrillon". We had not had the opportunity to go but we were looking for something like a grill or something like that. When you enter you can tell that the place is owned by Argentinian people, as there are many references and typical things from there.
We ordered a grill that claimed to be for 5 people and some different drinks. The presentation of the grill was very big and contained; arepas, meat, chicken, sausage, blood sausage, yucca, french fries, and many sauces.
The meat and everything was very good, the potatoes were crispy and the meat was very soft. This dish can easily serve up to 7 people, we didn't manage to eat it all because it was more food than it looked.
The service was good, you can tell they care about the customers, maybe more than usual. The bill was 42 dollars including the grill and drinks.
I would recommend going to this place, maybe if you don't have so much budget you can go to other places in this same street, but all the food was very good and we had a great time here.
Have you visited streets like this?
