Camping in the forest

This weekend my friends and I spent in nature camping in tents.

A friend of ours had a birthday and decided to celebrate it at the foot of Mount Bakerlaka, near the Bulgarian village of Rosen, where there is a small chapel with an ayazmo.

Hive account@outlinez and other our friends went to the place on bicycles. Another part of us arrived by car.

Hive account@artysela and I arrived later and when we were there the fire was already lit and many delicious dishes were cooked on it.

We pitched our tents on the meadow above the ayazmo and soon had a chance to watch the sunset.

The fields around were sown with sunflowers and here and there between them you can see the red blossoms of the wild poppies.

Many of us went out to the meadow to watch the sunset. The whole surroundings were colored in warm colors.

We had a pleasant evening with lots of music, dancing and delicious food.

In the evening, the moon was big, beautiful and illuminated the forest. Fairy forest sounds of crickets and birds could be heard from the forest.

In the morning we had breakfast with homemade bread, traditional Bulgarian lutenitsa and muffins with homemade blueberry jam.

We didn't feel like going home, but we had to pack up our tents and head back to the city.

We agreed to meet again at this place after some time to spend such a nice time away from the city again.
