Getting ready for the weekend. Making plans for a little winter roadtrip. Getting a bit hyper, the camper van was in the garage to have all the issues fixed. It's all gonna run smooth now. AdVINtures on the way. There is a bit of money to spend on the bill, but it's worth it I guess.
Boom Boom Boom
I was done with the large number of monthly garage visits the last few years. Before the most recent roadtrip I ended up at an official Mercedes garage in Germany. In The Netherlands they are way too expensive and the staff is not always that motivated. At this place I had a good feeling. The boss was kind of a cool guy, that looked like an older version of me. The were friendly, helpful en really enthusiastic.
I started giving my point to check...bam...bam...bam. The A4-sheet of paper was full. I am pretty organized, so I gave them all the issues in German in their e-mail, with a full list of repairs from 2020 until now. All in german, with km-stand and everything. At least 2.000 euro of repairs. I was actually happy, to give 'Vin Diesel' a little wellness treatment, he deserved it. I enjoyed the wellness myself last week.
The big boss had a day off on Friday, and his colleague was fully on to it. We were waiting for a call to pick up Vin Diesel. Yes! Ready!?

We took a ShareNow rental car to get to the garage. Vin Diesel looked a bit sad. Someone slammed him on the ass pretty hard. It looks like it was one hell of a barfight. Serious scratches and dents. He was broken. After asking the guys what happend here at Friday afternoon, they showed me the truck that hit him. Hardly a scratch on that one, but then I saw the print on the trailer. Beer delivery truck. Friday afternoon, almost weekend, beer delivery...how do you come up with that?
We had to leave him behind. After the weekend he will have his first checkups with the experts. Full recovery will not be easy, with this special mat finish paint. Vin Diesel is temporary turned into Scarface. I hope he enjoys the coke in the weekend and doesn't feel too lonely. I have trust in his recovery. In his movies he always recovers. And to be honest, this life is one hell of a comedy right? At least, I try to laugh. Yesterday I was a cry baby with my spicy food.
