Last weekend was the first time in months I finally stepped out and I am so glad I did.
I never knew I needed this so badly because it’s been ages since your girl went to have some fun!
By this trip, I am now convinced that it’s the most impromptu outing that turns out to be the most fun.
So my cousin and i were just randomly texting. I was bored, so was she and from there we both concluded to go out. But the problem was choosing the location.
She remembered she had some chips left in her video arcade game card. So our venue was checked.
What to wear was checked too and we both set off to Rufus and Bees video arcade at Lekki.
The ride to the location was so fun as it’s almost been two months since we last saw. We caught up on the latest in our lives and of course each other’s music playlists.
Finally, we arrived at our destination and there was a lovely car park just by the water side with a fence demarcating it.
We took some pictures there which surprisingly came out nice judging by the windy air that wouldn’t stop blowing my hair around.
On to the next stop, the restroom.
Yes most of the time we go to the restroom for mirror selfie’s and videos not just to pee.
Further more, after taking pictures to our almost satisfaction, we moved to the main event.
Gaming!
We refilled our card and our next assignment was to choose a game from so many varieties to begin with.
After some minutes of walking and confusion, we started with basketball which was more difficult than it looks. Even if we failed woefully, at least we had fun while doing it.
Then we played a game that looks like GTA but shooting animals not humans.
That was when I knew I had aim cos I topped the chart from old players and killed almost every four legged monster.
You can add Hunter to my name!
Afterwards, we played another shooting game but that was less fun than the first so we moved to a different vibe.
Car race!
Guys before I continue, does winning a virtual car race mean I can own a drivers license?
Because not to toot my own horn but I 100% killed it.
I won first place at my first attempt, third at my second and I didn’t even destroy the car.
Nah they need to run me my License.
Finally, we danced!
This was the hardest game for me, it almost felt like a chore even.
I could swear I lost a few calories from the whole activity because I ran out of breathe at the end. Did I add that the game was so hard?
We chose “Easy” but there was nothing easy about it, the songs were weird and the arrows moved too fast.
It was fun but I’m not sure I’d be doing that again or I might when I want to loose a few pounds or something like that.
Subsequently, we had played and danced away our energy so we moved to the restaurant to eat.
We both ordered chicken pepper soup and they served us with a side of bread. Not sure that was a good combo but according to my cousin that tried it together, it was delicious.
We took more pictures and videos before finally leaving.
I had so much fun and I recommend this place for couples because it seemed like we were the only singles in the whole building.
