When I was younger, I used to imagine what my adult life would look like.
I had many thoughts about work, responsibilities, and the future.
But honestly, I never really imagined what it would feel like to become a father.
Back then, I thought life would be simpler without children.
I imagined more freedom, and more time for myself.
But today, as a father of two amazing boys, I can say that the happiness I have now is something I never fully understood before.
For me, seeking happiness in adult life came through everyday moments with my children.
As a hands-on dad, I spend a lot of time with my boys.
Whenever my wife needs to take a bath, finish house chores, or even have some time for herself, I take charge of the kids.
Sometimes it's chaotic and exhausting, but it still makes me happy.
There is this kind of happiness when you watch your children grow right beside you.
It's like watching the little version of yourself, but with their own personalities and silliness.
Of course, not every moment is perfect.
There are times when something unexpected happens, but these imperfect moments are part of how children grow.
And somehow, those moments are also part of how I grow as a father.
So if someone asked me now about my experience of seeking happiness in my adult life, my answer would be... "I found it in fatherhood."
Being a hands-on dad may not always be easy, but the satisfaction it brings is something truly special.
Nothing can beat that feeling.
I may have once imagined a life without children, but now that I have these two boys, my life is far happier because of them.
So, I hope you who read this will also find your own source of happiness in your adult life, whatever form or career it is.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
