I believe that life is beautiful but it can also be stressful. Every day brings new challenges and sometimes difficulties, so we need a way to stay physically and mentally healthy. I think many people can get lost in their daily routines without doing anything to break out of them. Here I share with you this little weekend initiative on how to stay financially and mentally active. Well, actually, it's what I apply to my life, but everyone can do it differently.
1- Exercise
I always say that exercise is healthy. Personally, I exercise to stay healthy. Some people do it to improve their physique and get a better body, but for me, health is the most important thing. The daily routine makes everything feel heavy, but when we exercise, for me, it's my emotional release for the day, both physically and emotionally. When we exercise, we not only work our muscles, but we also generate endorphins, which are the happiness hormone and increase self-esteem.
When I talk to my workout buddies, we always agree that this hour is important to us because it's our release for the day. Some of us don't have any other entertainment besides this, so in order to stay healthy, it's necessary to exercise.
2- Eating healthy
Diet is extremely important. We are always told that maintaining a balanced diet is the right thing to do, and of course they are right. We need fruits, vegetables, proteins, and hydration to help us improve our well-being and stay physically and mentally healthy. We need to cut down on sugar. I have understood this for a few years now, and although I have reduced my sugar intake, the ideal would be to eliminate it completely.
3- Sleep well
Sleep is an important and indispensable part of physical and mental well-being. Sleeping 8 hours is important; sleep helps concentration, improves mood, and keeps us healthy in general.
We must improve our habits and adopt healthier ones. We must improve our minds and bodies. Incorporating reading is important because it keeps the mind active. Therefore, we must do our part and set small goals to achieve great results, because as we age, we need a higher quality of emotional and mental life.
