A blessed day for all of us. Today, just like yesterday, it's raining non-stop. I went out of the house in the morning with an umbrella to check on the current situation in the area. Heavy rain that had been continuous for three days and three nights had caused many residents' homes in my area to be flooded, with their yards filled with water. I walked towards the embankment to see how fast the water was flowing inside the embankment. I thought the discharge was good enough, but the water capacity was too much, so it overflowed everywhere.

After I looked around the residents' homes and greeted them, I returned home. There was no sign of the rain stopping. I was grateful that my house was still safe and away from the flood. Actually, before building the house, I had already predicted the bad things that would happen if a flood came.

Today, my schedule was to harvest chilies. Despite the rain, I was forced to go to the garden to pick ripe chilies. If I didn't pick them soon, they would be destroyed. The chilies would fall off on their own due to the very heavy rainfall. I immediately put on my equipment, such as rubber boots, a raincoat, and a hat, and started harvesting the chilies. Today, my wife and mother accompanied me while harvesting the chilies. Something was different today during the chili harvest. Usually, I can pick chilies very quickly, but today I was very slow because my hands felt cold, shriveled, and pale.

Despite the rain, we continued harvesting the chilies for over 3 hours. We finally finished the harvest. I was very relieved to have finished. The rain continued to fall non-stop, sometimes only to ease for a moment, then get heavier again. Many people chose to stay home and were reluctant to leave the house. Yes, if it wasn't absolutely necessary, I also really don't want to go out, but because it's so important, I harvested chilies in the rain today. I don't know when the rain will stop, but it's still raining as I post this. That's my weekend activity today, I hope you enjoy it.
