Hello my friends of this community, where we come to share those wonderful experiences that we have on weekends, when we plan to do something, which can be alone or in company that is more enjoyable and pleasant.
I am in Hive almost since it started, and sometimes I also spend time without posting but I have a very big commitment of being a mother and that absorbs me a lot of time, but as they are already out of the regular commitment of going to classes daily in school or high school, because they are already high school graduates my eldest daughter in college and now the boy. So I have more time to dedicate to Hive or Pea, but of course without neglecting my commitments as a mother.
In every museum we went to the entrance you sign the visitors' book.
In my hometown, Ciudad Bolivar, I don't really know how many Hive we are, I know of some like my friend , who has some time without posting, I hope she gets this notification and is encouraged to return, just as I encouraged her and told her friend let's go for a walk around the city.
With my friend Irene in the Salon de las Banderas inside the Casa Congreso de Angostura.
Looking towards Plaza Bolivar, with the Cathedral in the background, from one of the balconies of the Casa Congreso de Angostura.
My outing I called it a historical walk, because it was mostly in an area of my city known as Casco Historico, where most of the history not only of my city but of my country Venezuela, was developed there and in my city, that fills me with pride, I have been there several times, but it is one of those places that does not bore and that is a pleasure to visit many times.
The tile house is now an art school.
In addition, many houses are preserved with the old facades during the colony, which of course some have been restored so as not to lose that style, through the office of Historical Heritage and cultural heritage.
Old facades of some houses.
It has many places that are now museums where there is a lot of history, such as: La Casa Congreso de Angostura where the Liberator Simon Bolivar, read his famous speech, the Cathedral with an architectural structure that is unique in the country, the Plaza Bolivar, Casa Prision Piar, Palacio Legislativo, Museo Correo del Orinoco where even this the first printing press that came to Venezuela.
Gardens of the Palacio Legislativo.
Like other places, which is difficult to visit every day, there are also spaces that allow you to be in contact with nature, where we can also appreciate the beauty of the great Orinoco River, our great river, with legends and traditions, we can see the first bridge over the river, the Angostura Bridge.

That day I even met a hero of our independence, Manuel Piar, who was accused of being a traitor, since there was a historical-cultural event in the Plaza Bolivar, they were waiting for some invited people, we could not stay to wait, since we did not count with that in our itinerary that day, but I enjoyed the presence of that hero.
Carlos Manuel Piar and a lady of the time.
To know the homeland of our country is very important, but that in your hometown you have historical places is even more special and as I said we did not go to all of them, it will be for another weekend, because my friend started to work and she only has weekends off.
With one of the museum guides, they are students of Tourism at the university.
All the pictures were taken with my Samsung A12 cell phone and others with my Sony camera.
