Hello my friends here in this beautiful community where we share those weekends that many of us spend in different ways.
This weekend was days ago, but due to technical problems in my city I had days without writing, but I could not stop sharing it, but it was a long weekend, for a holiday which is what we call in Vennezuela a "Bridge", which before many went to the nearby beaches, but the situation and economic crisis of the country has changed that.
But luckily in the family we have this beautiful space called "Fundo", something like this country style, with many current things like energy and water, but still no internet, but it serves me as a therapy to rest from the networks, I have a wonderful time in those days, first because I am with my mom and family. But this time there was also a main reason to be there, which was the pre-farewell of my nephews before leaving the country and I went to help them to arrange some things.
So we left on a Saturday after leaving everything organized, taking some things, especially the pets, we can not leave them, they are still too small.
After a long journey by bus and then by motorcycle, we arrived, it was a beautiful sun and the high mountain too and it's been almost a month since I came, but as we are in winter and ours is rain instead of snow, the rain is necessary yes, but the mountain abuses.
We greeted everyone when we arrived, put things away, rested to walk around looking for different things and among those things I found that the new chickens arrived for breeding and then selling them, it is part of the food chain, Norka is in charge of this, she is the sister of my sister, and was a student of mine in preschool, a young woman but very hardworking, about a year ago she was in Guyana working but she does not want to leave, as she knows about the countryside, she will dedicate herself to that.
There was also a man cleaning the bush, the sun was still beautiful, then lunch and so I spent this first day at the farm.
On Sunday when I woke up I remembered that my daughter told me that in the early morning at about 12 o'clock at night there was a tremor, but I really did not feel anything, and that I had fallen asleep a little before that time, in the morning the news was about the earthquake, where the epicenter was in the state of Sucre, there was once when I was in the farm if I felt it, but this time nothing.
After breakfast, washing up, I went to my nephews to see what I was going to do, which was to leave the storage room or the corotos tidy, besides looking for some things that my sister told me, but these things I did not find, but others I kept, picked up, swept, left everything ready, I went to my mother's house.
My daughter was helping my grandmother with lunch, my younger brother arrived who was also bringing some medicine to my mother, he would spend part of the day with us, the other one was preparing the weed cutter to continue cleaning the weeds.
This brother who arrived had lunch first because there was a rainy weather, he rides a motorcycle and it is a danger, besides he was looking for his wife at work, so we had lunch the ones who were left.
I went to bed to rest, woke up, Norka arrived again to feed the chicks, there was a visit from my brother, the boss of his work, sometimes in the farm the day passes quickly like this, when the night came, I had to prepare dinner, and then organize things, since we would return the next day.
And as everyone who goes to a place must return to his own as my home, we left early after breakfast, walked to the asphalt road where the public transport would pass and thus would end for us this long weekend, until the next that we can come back to the farm.
