Mummy Lucy, The Witch
Walking through the middle of the night Aaliyah never believed what her eyes saw. It was just like a kind of bat of the family of a bat with straw-like hair which happened to be shining just as if it was grimy. She has begun to shiver since she has not seen a creature just like this in her life. The creature could not notice the presence of a soul and was moving closer to Aaliyah. After critical observation, she discovered that the eyes of the creature were lupine and at the same time just like a taurine.
How come she would stand the presence of the creature without being fainted? She began to think of a way out not until an idea came over her mind. She later thought it may be wrong to raise an alarm in the middle of the night when no one will come to her rescue. This means her mind of shouting for help was not accepted just to be pissed off by the nature of the creature she saw.
She was in the bush path of her town going to the other hurt of her uncle's house before she got stocked on the road by the unwanted and ugly creature. Her uncle's house was not far from her house but was separated by the bush path which has some thick trees around and looks somehow scary at night. Aaliyah on the other hand had the element of fear within her. She has all her life imbibed the habit of fear which everyone knew her to be. Fear gripped her body and immediately she started freezing. Not up to some few minutes, she heard a rhythmic click with a great echo coming towards her direction. This gave her some relief but was not too sure. She could hear the great slap of footwear smashing the floor just like the one which her uncle's wife always makes any time she is looking or searching for something and at the same time angry.
Her thought came over her "could it be that they have started searching for me "? Would it be that the full steps I am hearing are from my uncle's wife? Her thoughts came out to be fiasco after waiting for the continuous striking of the full steps approaching her. Her mind went back to this distress. She was having feelings of uncomfortability as fear took over her.
After some minutes she began to hear a wheezing voice which made her look in the creature's direction and saw through the eyes of the creature and discovered a shimmering with spite. Could I have offended this creature? Suddenly the creature noticed earlier and was crawling toward her direction. Her mind and heart were in her mouth as she was unable to shout. The full steps faded and now the creature has observed her presence. Immediately her fear turned to horror as the creature approached. It has bristly eyebrows looked from afar with a time-chiselled face. Seeing the appearance of the creature Aaliyah could not move an inch but sat pretending to hide winking her eyes just like a fallen Angel not knowing where to ascend.
Meanwhile, Aaliyah's mum was worried about why her daughter was still out there without getting back home. She has not been like this and has not for once come back home that late. I trust my daughter and I know what she can do. Aaliyah's mum said silently. She dashed into the fiercely feared environment holding a kerosene lamp. The glass covering the wick made the flash hidden from the interruption of the breeze. The light was a strong Force towards the creature. It was the only thing that can make the creature either run or transform. This means it cannot get eye to eye with light especially the one from a small lamp with the evolution of carbon.
The creature was restless after citing the lamp flame coming from the kerosene lamp. Aaliyah was shocked to see the full body of a creature. It was just like a human body but had the face of a bat. Aaliyah on the other hand was also happy to see a lamp approaching her side but she was way back from the road. She tried to Beckham on the person approaching but was unable to see her. I must leave this place no matter what. Aaliyah summoned courage and came out of her discomfort and to her surprise she saw nothing other than they approached a lamp flame which gave her some comfort and hope of surviving.
Aaliyah's mum saw mummy Lucy approaching looking just like someone who was just coming from the bush with her hair standing straight and her eyes looking just so strange. Where are you coming from? I sent her to deliver a message to you but to my surprise, she has not gotten home yet. Aaliyah's mum said to mummy Lucy.
I am just coming from home and heading to your house to collect the items you bought for me. Besides, I haven't seen Aaliyah today. Mummy Lucy said to Aaliyah's mum.
She shouted in surprise. Where do I keep myself? How and what would I explain to the world about what happened to my daughter? I was not ready to send her and she was also not ready to attend to my call but I forced her into this horror night. Aaliyah's mum echoed
She was about to shout in the second phase before Aaliyah showed up just like a dream and like someone who had been in a state of discomfort and now came out to become comfortable.
Aaliyah's mum immediately rushed and hugged her daughter. The way and behaviour of mummy Lucy showed some elements of an uncomfortable being. Seeing Aaliyah was a shock as she thought she had seen some traces of her or had seen her transformed into a normal human being after stressing Aaliyah.
Seeing her mum made her comfortable but was not sure of what was on her mind. She without hesitation asks her uncle's wife, mummy Lucy, how she got here so suddenly. Where did you pass through? I was only seeing the lamp approaching but no one else. It was like magic coming from nowhere to where my mum was. Anyways I am just curious. Aaliyah asked.
