Greetings everyone
Welcome back from a wonderful weekend full of God's unending love and grace.
Let me start by thanking the Ink Well community for their time and effort in coming up with great topics every week. You guys are wonderful
Wow, it reminds me of the day I was communicating with my babe and at a point she called me boo. I was like, "Babe, you just called me boo. It sounds funny, right? But she laughed and told me it's not the way I think that it's a replacement for babe. I was shocked, and we laughed and forgot about that. So seeing this topic took me back.
When I saw this week's topic, I smiled. The reason for this is that it reminds me of some wonderful stories I heard a long time ago about
Emma and Esther
Emma and Esther are lovers. They love themselves so much that they can't stay without seeing themselves. They had been close to each other since childhood, so that was how they began their relationship. That was how they grew up together, loving themselves so much. They attended the same school right from their nursery days till they went to the same secondary school and obtained their SSCE together and came out with flying colors. Both were happy and talked of getting jamb form so as to further their education and achieve their goals in life.
Emma couldn't further base on his family background because they were not up to the standard of sponsoring him. So he had no option but to relax and hustle hard, but Esther had to continue, but they still loved each other so much and Esther promised not to leave Emma, and that was how it was.
Esther bought the form, sat for the exam, and scored 210 in her jamb. That was how she got admission into the University of Ibadan to study mass communication. That was her dream in life, so she was prepared for that. That's how she left for school, and she didn't get into any relationships until she returned for the summer to spend two months at home. When she came back, Emma was so excited that her love was back, so on a good day, they decided to go out for a walk
On their way back, Emma had to tell Esther that Esther had someone she was in love with at school. Esther quickly turned to Emma and said, "BOO! What are you saying? What did you just call me Emma asked with anger in her and Esther replied, "I called you boo," and Emma got upset and left Esther there alone. Esther didn't know what the problem was until she got home and asked Emma what the problem was. That was when Emma told her that she had the gods to insult him. She was surprised and said to him, "When did I insult you?" and Emma said, "You called me boo Esther laughed and told him not to be upset because it was not an insult but a way of calling him babe, and they both laughed.
