In life, things don't always work according to plans, we always daydream about how we will buy a house at 22, buy cars, get married, and go on vacation with different kinds of dreams.
I was thinking out loud while sitting with my friends, then I tapped my friend's gift.
I asked her, have you ever imagined yourself being one of the best doctors in the world?
Gift reply Daydreams are for children, l live in reality, I retorted I hear you, you that will be counting how many children you will have with Ezekiel every time you are alone and be giggling like a child that was given candy. Fiona being the quietest among us will always smile and say she will travel the world around touching lives.
While l will be daydreaming about owning a hospital and a restaurant same time.
I am still working on it and will still own it one day.
Although we have these daydreams
Life wasn't going as we dreamed.
Gift got admission before the both of us. It was as if fate wanted us to be following each other on a line cause the following year Fiona got admission, I was left behind but I wasn't dull at all but circumstances beyond me caused me to lack. the
Well, the following year I got admission not even what I wanted to study, I was planning on switching courses when I discovered that I loved the course I was doing, and I decided to continue.
So I called my friends to let them know about the course I had decided to do and it was them I got to find out they had chosen different courses too.
One day when we hung out together, I asked what made them change their mind
Fiona said before she got admission, she went out one day with an aunt, who was an estate developer and she just fell in love with the work she researched, whether she could work in the hospital even if she studied the course and her discovery lead her to pursue the course.
Gift was already in school when she found out that she fantasized about running tests on people and doing research on the next steps in medicine. So she switched courses to becoming a medical laboratory.
While i on the other hand it was just fate choosing different dimensions for me.
Let me enlighten you deeper into our world.
I, gift, and Fiona are best of friends. We shared a dream of becoming medical doctors. I wanted to be a gynecologist, Gift wished to be a dentist and Fiona wished to be an otologist. We studied together, attended medical seminars once in a while, and even volunteered at hospitals. However, as we delved deeper into our studies, we discovered different passions within the healthcare industry.
Which I explained how it happened
Fiona was the first to realize her true calling was in managing healthcare facilities, ensuring everything ran smoothly and efficiently. She pursued a career in estate management, overseeing hospital administration and infrastructure development. She didn't stop there, her love to become a renowned hacker led her to pursue a career in cyber security, data analysis, and software development. Wow, my sister as we call ourselves was making a wave.
My passion for the environment led me to focus on sustainability in healthcare and the environment at large. I become an environmentalist, working with hospitals and companies to implement eco-friendly practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
Currently researching on how to keep the water body clean and to contain waste management around the city.
How we can reuse reduce and recycle every waste.
My love for food led me to also become a chef aside been an environmentalist.
Gift's fascination with laboratory work led her to become a medical laboratory scientist. She spent her days analyzing samples, developing new tests, and uncovering breakthroughs in medical research. she loves hairdressing, which is opening soon.
Though our paths diverged, our friendship remained strong. We supported each other's endeavors, recognizing that our diverse skills complement us perfectly.
It's been years now, and we always try to unite whenever we find ourselves in the same state, proud of the unique roles we are playing in the healthcare industry and the environment.
