Harry owned a café which he named the Happiness Café. It was a place where people met and shared their happiness. Enter and exit smiling is their motto. No argument is their rule. Harry has always been a cheerful and happy man. He has always gone out of his way to do good things for others and make them happy.

His act of understanding others is one thing nobody understood. People would always say it was a special power he possessed. Everyone around Harry were always so happy. He was the only one who could make others smile no matter how bad and sad they felt. He was everyone's go-to person, and he always had solutions to everyone's problems, in his own creative way. Except for Elma, Harry he made everyone around him happy, and he was loved by all.
Elma is Harry's childhood friend and life partner. She has never for once approved of him being so helpful towards everyone around him. She believed that everyone has to be on their own, and no one should interfere in the lives of others, be it their happiness or worries.
Harry and Elma both shared a great bond, but they always had disagreements on Harry being so nice to everyone. She kept telling him that God has created everybody different, and we all would one day have our own good and bad days and there was no point in going out and solving everyone's issues.
For almost a month now, Harry has been looking after this family of 6, a mother and her 5 children, whose father has abandoned them and their mother. He takes care of their meals and expenses, and also offered James, the eldest of the 5, a job at his café. Harry was not able to give enough time to Elma as he kept juggling between work and serving others, and this made happiness elude Elma. She became so sad and had to speak out.
Harry, don't you know that with sadness one learns the meaning and importance of happiness? That's just how life is. Please allow these people live the way they are because they are reaping what they've sown. They must have done something to deserve this suffering. You've done enough good for them, a job for James, that's enough Harry, you don't need to do more, Elma tells Harry.
What wrong have I done Elma? Why does my helping others make you so unhappy?, Harry cried. You're a thief Harry, Elma said in anguish.
I'm not a thief Elma, why do I have to keep telling you this?, Harry yelled. That's because you keep stealing everyone's sadness, hopeless Elma answered.
It's not stealing if I plan to give it back, Harry said. I take away their sadness to give them happiness in return. That makes me happy Elma, that makes me happy, Harry convincingly tells her.
But Harry, Elma cried, You stole my happiness and ruined it. Will I get back my happiness in future?
Why aren't you happy Lisa?, Harry asked. I have always loved you, and you know that.
You have no time for me, and I'm no more your priority. I don't see the love you claim to have for me in your eyes anymore. You're always up there for others and not me, I see it all fading away Harry, it's all fading away. Elma cried out.
Harry held her hands, and said, "Honey, you'll always be my first priority. It's only because of you and your support that I've been able to change people's lives, this makes me happy and knowing that you are by my side makes me happier. As you said, as you sow, you shall reap, honey, let us sow together? We can make a lot of difference to the lives of others and our little efforts can bring happiness to the lives of so many people. I want you to be with me and in my journey, now and forever."
Tears of happiness fell off Elma's eyes as she promised Harry that she would support him all the days of their lives. Elma became so happy once again and together, both of them brought happiness into the lives of thousands of people and the more they made others happy, the more they themselves were happy.
