During my birthday this year, I prepared some junks for my family all in the name of enjoyment. One may think that I had a bakery store to my name that season.
After about 11 weeks of intense hospital postings, I paused and reflected. That experience opened my eyes and led me to make a conscious decision, even as a student, to start eating healthier.
Every day in the hospital, I see firsthand how much food choices can either make or mar a person’s health.
And honestly, one of the wisest decisions anyone can make is to stay disciplined when it comes to healthy eating.
One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is to eat right. Your body will thank you. Your organs will appreciate you; even your our future self will be grateful.
Now, you might say, “But I’m a student,” or “I’m busy,” or “I don’t have time to cook.” And that’s valid, no doubt about that. But even in that reality, there are still better choices we can make. Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. There are always smarter alternatives to junk food.
When last did you intentionally buy fruits to eat. These fruits contain alot of natural vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to keep the body at its best.
Choose to make a better choice today.
