I can't believe Charles dumped me after all the years we've been together and the sacrifices I made in this relationship, where did I go wrong? Wumi soliloquize while she continually drowned herself in her drink
What she didn't know was that while she was drowning herself, someone was in the dark corner mesmerized by her beauty, and couldn't take his eyes off her.
She is the true definition of a goddess in human form, Charles said to himself as he watched the beauty drowning herself in the drink while she looked sorrowful.
He was like a predator ready to jump on its prey if she even dares to make a move from his sight or if anyone of his gender dares to get closer to her.
His feelings weren't just sensual, they were more like having her in his life and not letting her go through whatever has brought her out to the bar.
Hayden just couldn't resist the urge to want to talk to her, so he stepped out of the shadow, walked closer to the bar, and started a conversation.
Wumi couldn't stop drooling at Hayden, on their first eye contact, she could hear the increase of her heartbeat, and she could feel herself blush as she continue to stare at the man in front of her.
She could see his mouth moving, meaning he was saying something but she couldn't grasp it as not only was the drink getting to her, but it seems she becoming intoxicated with this man standing in front of her.

I want to forget about everything, I need to forget about him, he left me.
Wumi said while slurring."
Hayden took the rest of her drink and asked the bartender not to give her any drink.

Like your house, you mean? Of course, I would love to get out of this place now.
Both got out of the bar and Hayden drove her to his house, by the time they got to his house, she was already fast asleep in the back seat.
So, he walked out and carried her out of the car and into his home, Wumi started wriggling in a bid to become comfortable on his shoulder.
He took her into his room, and laid her down to sleep, as she coiled into herself but started talking.
Hayden couldn't get sleep because he wanted to be awake when she finally woke up or needs something, he felt connected to her from the first time he set his eyes on her and would want her in his life.
Wumi woke up the next day with a hangover, luckily Hayden was up already with a cup of coffee and painkillers in case she needed them.
She remembered all that happened but was more embarrassed that she followed her guy she didn't know home and in her drunken state might have spilled a lot.
He showed her the bathroom, and while he went to prepare food for both of them, he couldn't help but love her more as he got to know more about her as they got talking after she came out from the bathroom.
Hayden, expressed his feelings for her even though he was aware she just got out of a bad relationship but wouldn't mind waiting for her till she was ready for a relationship.
Wumi liked Hayden but she was afraid of the repetition of what she just went through, and she could see and feel that he was a true, and calm guy but she needed time.
But on second thought she decided there was not wrong with giving him a try, when she told him her answer, Hayden leaped up for joy like a young lad given his favourite snacks.
Hayden never disappointed, Wumi in their years of relationship, she realized that Hayden was her beacon that meet her in a weird place and state and finally, she got her happily ever after.
