Osondu had definitely seen many weird occurances in life and he was still only fifteen years old, who knows what he would see in the future.
He lived in a hugely densed city literally named Jungle, everybody in this city was either angry about nothing, weird or weirder.
That morning as he boarded a bus to school, he looked forward to see another weird thing as he was already getting used to it and his prayer was answered.
A huge woman who wore a caftan as big as the entire bus adorned with a tall igele which was as tall as the tallest building and a handbag as wide as her waist stepped into the bus with the help of the driver and his conductor and sat beside Osondu.
Everything was fairly okay at first, the ride was going smoothly until strange noises started coming from the woman's handbag.
It stopped briefly then continued after some minutes, the lady had to unzip the bag and a little monkey which was dressed from head to toe like a little girl popped up and sat on the lady's shoulders.
Osondu was astonished, he had seen many weird things in this city before but this had to top all of them, he looked at the lady looking for explanations.
The lady seemed to understand the young man's curiosity and answered his not yet asked questions by saying
This is my grand daughter Amanda, her mother Stella is my daughter, i rescued her mother Stella years ago when she was still a baby and ever since then she has become part of my family and my husband and children accepts them and treats them well.
Osondu was still astonished, he looked at the woman as if to say i can't believe you just said that and the fact that nobody in the bus cared surprised the young osondu more.
The bus finally stopped at Osondus destination and he hurriedly got down, he turned around and saw the woman and the little monkey waving at him.
Osondu was still astonished as he entered his school and sure enough he blurted out his encounter to his friends who were equally surprised.
