There was a boy named David. David was a quiet and shy boy who always kept to himself(he was an introvert).

He was lanky and looked underfed because of this, he was plagued by fear, fear of the bullies who tormented him day after day, though he's parents always warned him against fighting.
For as long as he could remember, David had been the target of their cruel taunts and mean spirited jokes. They would push him around, call him names, and make him feel small, and insignificant. And each time, David's instinct was to run away, to escape from the pain and humiliation.
But one day, something inside of David changed. He grew tired of being afraid, tired of letting the bullies dictate his life. He realized that running away was not the answer that if he wanted things to change, he had to face his fears head-on.
So, with the determination burning in his heart, David made a decision. He would no longer fright and run whenever he's being bullied, rather he would stand up for himself and fight back against the bullies.
The next day at school, when the bullies approached him with their usual jeers and insults, David didn't back down. Instead, he looked them straight in the eye and stood his ground. The bullies were taken aback by his new attitude confidence, but they quickly recovered and began to taunt him even more.
But this time, David didn't run. He stood his ground, refusing to let their words hurt him(because there was nothing new to what they were saying, he was already used to the names and insults) . And when one of the bullies tried to push him, David pushed back. It was a small gesture, but it felt like a victory, a victory over his fear, over his self-doubt, over the bullies who had tormented him for so long.
From that day forward, David continued to stand up for himself, refusing to be intimidated by the bullies. And little by little, their power over him began to get loose . They realized that David was no longer an easy target, and they eventually moved on to someone else.
But for David, the real victory wasn't in defeating the bullies it was in overcoming his own fear. He had faced his fears heads on and came out stronger and more resilient than he was before. And though he knew that there would always be challenges ahead, he also knew that he had the strength and courage to face them, he had to fight his fears instead of running away.
