Waking up to the beautiful rays of sunlight is always amazing, got up from bed and started preparing for work. Been that we were two in the room we had to share the house chores which made it fast, oooh on a Tuesday morning I could never forget.
We had to prepare something to eat for breakfast before leaving when we were done with everything it was time to leave. I waited for my friend to get down with all the makeups, oooh yes you guessed right she loves spending all her time in doing makeups according to her it's always good to look elegant.
When she was done we were set to go, we picked up our stuff and headed for the door. But wait something was missing like something wasn't complete, yeah and that was the padlock.
Oooh God something else to make us late, we had to start looking for the key and padlock something I forgot to do while waiting for her to get down, we searched the normal spot of keeping the keys it wasn't there, we checked other places and it still wasn't there.
I hope u aren't thinking what am thinking, right now we are running late but what does keeping to time matter when the padlock is missing, it begun to seems it wasn't in the house anymore because we literally checked the whole house and it still hasn't been found.
We had to drop our bags this time and begin an extensive search, we tried remembering where last it was and who opened the door yesterday when we got back from work and it was my friend, she recalled opening the door but where she dropped the padlock and keys is what is still a mystery.
She said maybe she left it in the door or she might have brought it inside, still battling on what might have gone wrong or what is missing in this equation we decided to ask the neighbors if they might have seen any padlock yesterday.
We started asking everyone but they said they haven't seen any padlock or even keys, when we got to one if the neighbors he sounded somehow about not seeing the padlock, he was like u people usually use to forget your padlock and key at your door so if it's get missing it should be a lesson to you people Incase of next time.
We didn't take it serious we just ignored him and kept searching, when it was obvious that the padlock was taken by someone who is not yet found we decided to borrow someone's padlock and close our door in order to go to work and come back home to continue the search.
While coming back we decided to get a new since it already looks like we aren't safe, on reaching home we returned the padlock which was borrowed to the owner and I devised a plan on how to buy it, we decided that one person would go and the other would stay at home inorder to secure the house.
Well I volunteered to go while stepping out one of my neighbor asked me where I was headed to and I told him, he then smiled and told me to follow him, curious on why he responded like that I decided to follow him.
On getting to his apartment he entered and returned with a padlock, you could just imagine what I was looking at. Yes it was ours and then he said he wanted to teach us a lesson so that next time we would be more cautious and security conscious.
It was a great sign of relieve but then it wasn't funny atall, like he watched us suffer and didn't say anything. Well that justify him trying to teach us a lesson, I returned back to my friend and narrated what transpired.
Don't you want to know which of my neighbor was with the padlock and keys all this while, yeah it was with that person that said what happened would teach us a lesson.
But then I guessed we learnt our lessons well, most especially my friend she is fond of doing that always
