Drops of Life
The place's collapsing and people are suffering
Solutions are taken, but it's a tough battle to win.
Tougher and tougher it goes, as our society grows
In this eminent drought, we cannot sow.
It's hard to imagine that we face this uneven
Plus the time constraint that nature has given.
We will never be ready because we think of so many
Until we forgot to care for our mommy
It's the beauty that we believe is true
That it's constant for the earth to renew
Yet we missed the part that aside from giving life,
it will kill us too.
A challenge of life! and yes, that's right
But we must accept, we cannot always fight.
To fight for hunger, famine, and blight,
Hope that drops of life will help us to survive.
A test for the grace that everyone will face.
One by one, each race will soon embrace.
A clear fate if we will lose our faith
It'll be insane, even when the day the rains came.
Hello everyone. I wrote this poem to remind us of our responsibilities in caring for our mother nature. We sometimes missed that it's the only thing we have as our home, our true home for the entire human life and every other life forms. And if we really don't care about it, we will never have another one, ever again. I hope this will be some sort of inspiration for others to always be responsible.
