Usually I don't take the road beside the graveyard at nights but as I'm in a rush so gathered the courage to take that road, and guess what, "I saw a human shadow moving weirdly, not something normal movement." and when I screamed, I got another voice which seemed familiar to me in response to my scream. I just walked too fast to cross the road within a few seconds and went home.
I was sweating even though it's winter. Everyone at home got tense on seeing me like that. I was falling short in breathing, and it took almost half an hour for me to be normal and start speaking. I shared everything with my family, and they assured me, saying it's all my imagination, nothing of that sort happens, and I must have mistaken. But I know I'm not, I have seen someone, weird movements, even a voice which seemed familiar, but I can't recall.
The next morning, I got a fever, pretty badly, and couldn't get out of bed for the next two days. Even my thoughts and imagination were filled with the scenes from that night, nobody is willing to take it like that, everyone is saying that it's my imagination or something else. I am mistaken, and so.
Upon hearing my situation and everything, one of uncle laughted at me and told me to join him, and he would showcase the actual story. I was like, "WTF is he saying, and why is he laughing at me? Is he thinking I'm mad?" He just laughed at me and walked away, saying he would go for a walk with me tonight. After a few hours, two of my cousins joined me. They were smiling as if I were a joker, and it pissed me off even more.
In the evening, we went out for a walk at the village market. We kept walking by the riverbank, had tea at a tiny tea stall under a big banyan tree, it's a very gigantic one, as the moon was shining so brightly that the tree looked marvelous. I thought they would go towards the graveyard road, but they didn't, kinda changed their mind upon seeing something which they didn't share with me. I was feeling like they were gonna make fun of me now out of that story, but that wasn't any joke or anything of that sort to make fun of me. It wasn't any sort of my imagination or assumption that they didn't believe in me and kinda leg pulling. I got angry and didn't say much.
We were outside for a long time, I forgot about that, and we were roaming here and there as usual. It's 11.00 am, and it's time to return home. They decided to take that graveyard road. I was a little bit afraid. To be honest, I have gone through this road a lot with them; I never felt anything like that, but after that day, I was a little bit panicked.
After some time, we are in front of that graveyard, exactly at the same position, but nothing like that. They stopped and asked me what I saw on that. I got angry. Is this the right place and time to ask those questions? They held my hands tightly and asked again. I said what I saw hurriedly.
Two of my cousins asked me to wait, and they left towards the graveyard; another road goes to the back. After two minutes, I could see the shadow, exactly that one. I can remember the movements as it wasn't normal, not one but three, two are my cousins, and then that exact same voice that I heard that day. Initially, I was shocked and now perplexed about what's happening. My uncle pulled my hand and took me to the backside of the graveyard. What I witnessed then made me laugh as well.
We have a mentally unstable guy in our village; he is homeless, and he stays here and there. His current staying location is this, a broken shop, and he lives beneath this shed. From that other side of the graveyard, you can't see clearly, but under the light of the lampposts, we can see only the shadow. On that day, I heard his voice; now I can remember, and that's why it seemed familiar. He repeats what someone calls him or says something. His walk and movements arent normal as he is physically weak too. Now I understand everything, and kinda relaxed, and that's the reason why they were laughing upon hearing my story, and here I am, got sick for two days.
If they hadn't heard or shown me this practically, it would have been left as a paranormal incident in my life titles as the "Dance of a Shadow."
