There is a very old two-storeyed building, in this area, they are regarded to have one of the oldest houses. The architecture would make anyone realize the fact. Timoti's dad has never shown any interest in rebuilding this house just like the modern ones we see nowadays, he just keeps repairing it year after year as if something deep is connected for which he can't take that decision. Decades have gone and they are still living in this old house, roof leaks from different places and they keep repairing it, even after such a long time, the building is strong enough to last another century. It looks like that whenever they try to repair it, it shows its strength.
Timoti's dad died, before his last breaths, he tried too hard to say a few things related to this house. Maybe he hadn’t expected to leave us on such a sudden call, leaving behind a mystery as to what he wanted to say regarding this house. Was he trying to make a promise not to destroy this house? Or something else? Timoti is an orphan now, his mother died after his birth, and there was a fatal illness that caused her death, his dad tried every means to keep her alive but couldn’t.
Timoti decided to rebuild this house, he no longer wants to live in this old building. He is from this generation, he wants to keep pace with the ongoing developments.
On the same night, he has a dream, someone is stuck somewhere and asks Timoti to help. He sees a hand for help and progresses towards the hand, just an inch to hold that hand his dream gets broken. He didn’t care much about it, and soon he finalized a date to demolish the entire house. He gets another dream on the night before work. Now he clearly sees the face, it's his mother, he wakes up and tries to understand the whole thing, he gets a feeling of something is wrong, very very wrong. On the first light he goes here and there to get a satisfactory answer to his dream, he tries to connect the dots of his dad's attachment to this house, his deathbed unfinished words related to this house. Everything seems so confusing and concerning to him, what's coming ahead of him is completely unpredictable.
Tried every possible way to break this solution by connecting the dots and at last someone from his distant relatives who is a priest wished to meet him. He lived very far from here and hadn't visited them for a long time, he disclosed something terrifying and heartbreaking. Timoti got to know his father's deep love towards his mother, and how insane he was in her love, he couldn’t accept the untimely departure of his love so tried something that is against the rules of nature, he kept her soul close to him within this house, yes she is stuck here, her soul hasn’t got the freedom and seeks for a proper goodbye before demolishing this house otherwise she will be stuck forever.
Timoti was shocked on hearing this, he saw his mother so helpless and was seeking help in his dream. He tried to feel the pain his mother's soul went through for so long just because of his father's madness, what kind of love it is! At last, that priest did the necessary rituals to free her soul and at last, all the dots got connected and found an end.
