Life is full of surprises, knowingly or unknowingly, pleasant or unpleasant; every day or tomorrow, there is always something for us to get surprised about. Whether it's our near and dear people or life itself, it never leaves any stone unturned to shower us with its surprises.
So far, I have also experienced a lot of such unexpected special moments, maybe a proposal that came all of a sudden, a birthday celebration out of my imagination, a gesture from someone that was beyond my expectations, and many more. Yeah, I have also tried my best to give surprises to many to make their moments memorable and to make them feel more privileged. Birthday celebrations, a sudden visit to someone very far and calling them standing right in front of their balcony, and many more on the list.
Right now, my mind is flashing hundreds of such moments that I can describe with a lot of excitement, thrills, and happiness. Okay, I have picked a very special one close to my heart. It was my mother's birthday, and my siblings and I planned to celebrate that. But the problem is, she doesn't like this kind of celebration at all, just in her case, hahaha. So we can't arrange a gathering; a celebration between the family members would be fine. The best part of my mom is that whenever there was a special day, she would cook delicious food for us; as it was her birthday and we had wished her, so she thought of doing the same to make us happy in return.
The whole day went on normally. I went out as usual in the evening, but I returned with a birthday cake and a candle. My little sister was happy and thrilled at the same time to see her reaction; both of us knew that she was gonna yell because of this unnecessary spending (to her, this is unnecessary spending, in our cases, it becomes the opposite). The room was dark, and I began to bring out the cake and placed it on the table. My sister called her here; she came and said, "Why is this room so dark? Why didn't you guys turn on the lights?" saying so she turned on the lights and saw us with a birthday cake and candle, smiling at our best, and cheering while chanting the 'happy birthday' wish. She got surprised, smiled, and out of shyness she started to walk toward another room. And when my little sister ran behind to bring her back, she started her typical motherly act of caring to yell at us, hahaha; we were ready for it to digest, so it didn't impact us.
My sister did some crafting work to decorate the room a little bit, which was nice, something different from my mother's usual days. After a few moments, she came, and we all joined in celebrating that special moment, a small gift from us, a little attempt to make her feel special, and somewhere we got to feel that we did it, she was happy and smiled throughout the whole time, and it means a ton to us.
Surprises are always welcomed; who doesn't love them? Obviously, the pleasant ones I am talking about. But to be honest, life is always on the top to give us surprises beyond imagination; in my case, most of them turn out to be unpleasant. No worries, unpleasant ones make the pleasant ones more special and desirable. The more you care for someone, the more you shall receive, so keep spreading this token of expressing love and care for our near and dear people to make them remember that they are special too.
Take care,
Have a good day.
