My heart aches for Aish. I intentionally want to feel the pain to ease my sadness and maybe this will helps me move on faster. I want to think of her, only her. Maybe in a few days’ time, I’ll be over it.
Ironically, this woman in front of me makes me smile by making me feel stupid. I glimpse at the woman and I just can’t believe that she has the guts to make fun of me.
She embarrasses me more when she poses her beautiful body. “Hey Carl, let’s play a game and if you win, you can touch me everywhere, “she said that while laughing and rubbing her chest and at the same time, giving me the seductive look. My jaw dropped and I hear her say, “Carl, please close your mouth or this place will have a foul smell”. I realised what she meant and closed my mouth and turn my back on her. “Damn”. I murmured to myself while she is teasing and making fun of me.
Okay, let us play throw ball. She picked up the ball. It’s so simple. I told myself, maybe she thinks I was a fool.
“Ouch”. She threw the ball at me. She laughs again and said, “Always be ready”. She makes the gesture of removing the strap of her bra and said, ‘You don’t like it, do you?” She continues to laugh at me.
I took the ball and threw it towards her. I thought I can have hit her but she was able to catch it. “We’re not starting yet, okay.” She chuckled. “What a downer!” I sarcastically said it.
We ended the game without hitting her. I feel busted and get off the pool. She tags along and asked me to wait for her while she changes clothes.
I look around again to check whose house I am in. I’m really confused because it looks like; this is where Aish lives before. It gives me wonders why this woman lives her as well. It was a question in my head that I want to ask later.
“Hey Nash, how are you?” Surprisingly, everybody knows her and why I don’t. It doesn’t seem right to me and I feel lost. I look at her and she smiles at me.
Don’t tell me that my mother knows you as well?” I said to her while we are on our way home. She just smiles at me and she greets my mother when we entered our house. “Hello Mother, how are you now?” I look at my mother with some curiosity on my face.
My mother just winks at me and guided Nash to go in. I keep on thinking what ‘s going on as I don’t clearly understand every single thing. Who is this woman and why she acted like we’ve known each other long enough?
Nash ties her hair and smile at me. My eyes grow big when I started to recognize her. I run to my room and shouted, “Mom, I need to change clothes and get some rest!”
My mother got confused about why I acted like that. After a minute, someone knocks on my room door. I didn’t open it and pretended that I didn’t hear anything. The knocking gets louder and louder. “Carl”. Nash called me in a soft and calm voice. I still continue to ignore her. Carl!!! She shouted outside while she kicks the door. This time, I have to stand up and open the door. I finally remember her. She was my childhood friend who always bullies me back then. She was strong because she was trained as a martial artist by her Dad who was in the military at that time.
Just when I open the door, she threw me to my bed. Thankful enough my bed has a thick foam, otherwise, it will be very painful. She acts like she wants to jump at me but then she stop and say, “Okay, you’ll accompany me to go to the town area”.
I frown because I don’t feel like going out anymore. I’m tired because I was drunk yesterday. “Not now, Nash, my head still hurts”. She grins at me with her sharp eyes. “Don’t fool me, Carl, I am a doctor and I know the medicine I gave you is effective. She twisted my arms and pulls me up. It hurts and so I gave in. Okay fine, let’s go. Please wait for me outside; I need to change clothes first. And I gave her that pathetic look in my face.
She never listens and stays in my room instead. She also looks at me while I am changing my clothes. She crossed her arms and watches me. I turn my back when I am about to change my short pants. After I put on my shirt, she turns me around. She stares at my body and touched my abs. “You are now hunk Carl, huh”. It’s hard for me to believe that some like weak and weird kid can grow his masculine body. She was amazed at me and I feel proud.
It was supposed to be a perfect moment but my feet slip off and I got off balance when she pulled me. She catches me like obviously in a very odd position. The time stops when she stares at me and I look in a different direction but she holds my face to look at her. I thought she was deadly serious but then she smiles and let me go.
I fell on the floor. Hahaha! You are weak as before, Carl. She grabs my arms to help me stand and drag me outside of the house to go to the town proper. She seems very popular in our place. I wonder why I didn’t see her visits to our place for a long time.
"Hahaha, weak as always Carl." She pulls me and goes outside to go to the town. She is so popular here in our place. I wonder why when I didn't see her visits our place for a long time.
Unfathomable while enjoying in staring her pretty smile. We were so close when walking side by side. She smiled at me and gave me a kiss on my cheek. I was stunned because of her actions and I don’t know what to say or do. She did it over again when she noticed me my reactions.
I think of Aish and I knew from my heart, I still love her. My head is telling me that all these things that are happening were just lust. Who doesn’t feel that way? You are gay if you don’t feel anything. But at the back of my head, I feel guilty to Aish. I shake it off instead. I think this is better, for now, I guess it’s time that I enjoy myself so I can forget about her easily.
Today, our town is busy and colourful because it’s a festive season. There is a carnival happening around. We went inside the horror house and we did enjoy it. We tried the Ferris wheel and Nash keep on hitting my arms while in it. She even laughed at me when she saw the scars on my arms because of her long fingernails that scratch my skin. She was a bully to me, then and now.
Nash is really having a great time; she keeps on smiling while teasing me at the same time. She jumps over my back as she wants me to piggyback carry her towards the fountain. It’s so embarrassing when people look at us like small kids. Nash keeps on laughing and it seems that she’s really happy.
We noticed that it’s already evening, time flies so fast. We decided to sit down in a place far from the crowd. The fireworks start to show and just nice to be in a place so you can emote. Aish came into my mind, I still remember those times when we watch the fireworks together, it gave me a teary eye, remembering that. I moved sideways because for sure Nash will laugh at me again.
However, instead of hearing a laugh, I heard a loud cry. I didn’t look at Nash because I know she won’t cry that easily. But when I heard sobbing, I look at her and saw Nash crying. She kneels down while she cries. “Why you did that to me? How could you?” I pity her because I for one know how it feels. I comforted her. I rub her back to help her breath. She suddenly hugs me and cries in my shoulder. She cries like a baby and I hug her back tightly to let her feel safe.
Let it out Nash, it’s fine. Let go all your heartaches and sadness. I whispered to her. She stops crying and look at me. We both stare at each other’s eyes. I don’t know what to think but I can’t get off her beautiful face. Nash has a pretty face, the one that you can’t stop staring at. It feels like the world stop revolving and I feel her breath and my heart is beating fast. She kissed me on my lips and I couldn’t believe this is happening. I then close my eyes.
