Hey there, and welcome to the blog. I was considering what to write about when I saw the contest and decided to enter. As I read the entries and noticed the variety of topics, I started thinking about what I could write about that is nonfictional. Suddenly, I remembered a surprise that I received from friends that I never imagined I would get. I'm going to share it here and I hope you all enjoy it.
HOW IT STARTED
It was a cool day when a friend called and asked me to come over. I asked her why because I didn't feel like going out that day, but she kept insisting that I come right away as if it were an urgent matter, so I gave in and said I would be there soon because I needed to finish up some tasks at home. She promised to wait. I quickly completed my tasks, took a bath, got ready, and drove to her house. She called again as I was getting ready to leave the house and asked where I was. When I informed her I had already left the house and was on my way, she said, "Okay, she's waiting."
I contacted her as soon as I arrived at her location to ask her to come and open the gate because I was outside her home. When I questioned her why she was so eager to open the gate, she hurried down and said, "I need to relax first so the surprise isn't rushing away. We laughed at the joke and went inside the home.
When we entered the house, she inquired about my impending birthday and asked what my plans were. When I replied that I had no plans because I lacked the money to have a party, she said, "You shouldn't worry about celebrating a birthday party." Then she informed me that she intended to take me to a brand-new spa the day before my birthday after learning about its recent opening. I told her that it seemed like a nice idea. So, with five days until my birthday, we decided to go to the spa the day before. Although she could have told me over the phone, I was not particularly happy about the need for her to drag me out of the house. She responded, "I just wanted to see the reaction on your face," to which I replied, "Okay, no problem with that." As girls can be when they get together, we continued chatting all day.

so we booked the ride and when the ride came we left on our way to the spa we took lot of videos and pictures till we got to the spa.
just as we arrived at the spa it was a beautiful place, we entered and booked our session and got ready for it. After our spa session, we decided to go out to lunch and then get our hair fixed at a saloon. All of the costs were covered by her, and she said that it was her birthday gift to me, which made me feel incredibly appreciated and wonderful.
It was time to go home and prepare for the big day, which was my birthday, after all the day's tension from the spa to the restaurant to the saloon and everything else.
THE BIRTHDAY
Finally, it was my birthday. I had added another year, and I had received calls from many friends and family members. My buddy and I had actually planned to go out, so I got ready, dressed, and was ready to head to my friend's house when she told me that I needed to meet her where she was already. I was perplexed as to why she had to arrive sooner than me, but I didn't give it much thought. I contacted her when I arrived at the address she had provided me with, and she gave me the go-ahead to enter. However, to my greatest surprise, when I arrived, everything was set up, and I could hear everyone shouting "happy birthday."I just kept smiling, like I couldn't help myself. That was a significant surprise I never anticipated receiving.
