I think you ought to just lead by example and do challenges for publishing novels on Kindle, and get your money and audience members from actual book sales through kindle.
But, in order to do that, you'd need to actually convince inkwell users to self-publish, and you'd also need to have those self-published works, act as onboarding vectors for audience development.
It's a plan that I have laid out for you all months ago.

Always seems nicer to get money from grants, I suppose, rather than just building businesses and giving audience members a reason to follow authors on HIVE, and giving HIVE authors a reason to stake earnings to increase the amount of reward pool they can divert to engaging their audience members -- due to now relying on KDP royalties for income, rather than HIVE upvotes.
