Greetings!
Bayo was a good friend of mine who would not joke with anything that concerns me. He's always looking after me, maybe because he was older than me.
Although, Bayo and I were not friends from the beginning as my real friend or let me say, the person that introduced me to Bayo was Soji, but as of now, my relationship with Bayo in terms of cordiality cannot be compared to that which exists between Soji and I.
In the year 2020, when the corona virus was ravaging the whole world, it's Bayo that came to my rescue and this was what brought Bayo and I so close together.
When, I was to come to Ibadan from Osogbo, I call Soji to inform him of my coming to Ibadan as we have earlier discussed and agreed and he asked me to be coming saying,
“Sam, you are always welcome, I'll be waiting for you at the park.” “Okay thanks,” I replied.
So, when Soji had given me the go ahead, I boarded a cab to the park where I boarded a bus to Ibadan, but due to the covid19 pandemic that was ravaging the entire world back then, we were delayed at the park and it's after all the traveling measure were being met that we the driver of our bus got the green light to start the engine and that was when the journey began.
However throughout the journey, there were a series of stop and search by the security agencies mounted on the highway.
So, the journey which was supposed to be a 2hours journey took us up to like 6 hours and it's kind of a stressful journey.
However, at the end, we got to our destination, Ibadan and at the Ibadan bus terminal, I met Soji, my long term friend at the bus terminal and it's after we had exchanged pleasantries that Soji introduced a tall dark guy named Bayo to me.
He said, “Sam, this is my friend, Bayo. He's a good friend of mine and we have been together since I came to this city.” “ Wow! He must be a good person,” I said. “Yes, he is a good person,” Soji replied.
So, after he had introduced us to each other, we left the park for Soji's home and on getting there, we all sat down and discussed how I would also start my own life and business in the city of Ibadan.
When we first started the discussion, Soji told me about his investments and how he started very little. He further told me how God has blessed him.
When he told me about his investments and his many outlets, I was so happy that he would assist me with one of his outlets where I would also be doing my own POS transaction business, since he was into something different to what I was doing.
After he had shared with me and Bayo his numerous business investments, Bayo also shared his own life and business with me, but in his own case, his business profile was not as robust as that of Soji.
So, after both of them had finished with their business experiences and investments, I was expecting Soji to tell me that he would assist me with a space in one of his outlets, but that was not the case.
Even when I asked him if he would assist me, he declined and asked me to go out to look for a space myself. He said, he too started on his own without depending on anyone and that he's doing fine now.
When he had finished talking, I was so depressed and discouraged and this is because I was new to the city and to navigate my ways might be kind of difficult.
However, when Bayo saw the trust that was written over me, he said,
“Soji, I think there's no need to disturb Sam, he can come and manage with me at my outlet.” “Really!” Soji replied. “Yes,” Bayo said.
When I heard this from Bayo, I was so confused as I could not believe that someone who I just met a few hours ago would come to my aid, but thank God for using him as an angel to me and this is because I didn't know how to navigate the city.
So, after the discussion, I and Bayo left Soji's place for Bayo's place and that was how we got so close that Soji could not enter in between us again. Our close relationship was not fine with Soji. But he had no option other than to accept the reality.
However, just because of that single assistance, God later blessed Bayo and he won an American lottery and he had since left for the place and till today, I'm the now managing Bayo multiple business as he had entrusted everything to me and I'm also doing fine.
