In The Ink well we recommend a minimum length of 750 words for short story submissions. Anything shorter than this invariably suffers from underdevelopment. We also expect writers to submit quality edited pieces for review. We do not want writers to use AI editors to rephrase, improve or create better fluency in their pieces. Only light editing is allowed. I noted that you have left some comments on the stories of other writers in the community. Can you confirm that these comments are your own and of your own creation? You have placed them in quotation marks, which is unusual, and the language and style of commentary also do not appear to match your voice and writing style. Do you read a story, then comment, then read the next story and comment, and so on?
