Buenos días, tardes o noches, bienvenidos a mi post. Un post un poco diferente, donde me inspiré en dos juegos que se encuentran en la plataforma de Hive: Hashkings y Cryptobrewmaster haciendo una interesante similitud tanto como juego NTF, como en la vida cotidiana donde los orígenes del amargo característico de la cerveza la emparenta con la marihuana. Mientras ven el proceso de la ilustración les voy contando.

Comienzo haciendo el boceto con líneas rojas para ver mejor las diferencias entre línea y fondo, eso me será útil más adelante. Así como una semilla, que por cierto la cerveza inicia también como una semilla, no hablo de la cebada, hablo de la siembra de las plantas de Humulus lupulus “Lupulo”. Las flores hembras de esta planta se agregan en la elaboración de la cerveza para dar el amargor.
I start by making the sketch with red lines to see better the differences between the line and the background, that will be useful to me later. Realicé el lineart con color marrón. Una línea negra no me llamó la atención para la temática en general del diseño. Un dato interesante del lúpulo y que tiene en común con la marihuana es que lúpulo es un estimulante del apetito. Por lo que su consumo “al tomar cerveza” suele probocar hambre al igual que sucede después de fumarte un porro. El lúpulo también tiene propiedades sedantes y antidepresivas.
I made the lineart with a brown color and a black line, it did not attract my attention to the general theme of the design. An interesting fact about hops and what it has in common with marijuana is that hops are an appetite stimulant. So their consumption “when drinking beer” usually makes you hungry, just like what happens after smoking a joint. Hops also have sedative and antidepressant properties.
Me decidí por colores sólidos dentro del lineart inclinándome por colores pasteles, aparte quería mantener el estilo del diseño de ambos juegos Hashkings y Cryptobrewmaster. El uso del Lúpulo de forma oficial comenzó con las Leyes de Pureza de la cerveza, donde se describen los ingredientes permitidos para la elaboración de la cerveza en Europa del siglo XV. Donde se incluye como el tercer ingrediente autorizado por el duque bávaro Guillermo IV.
I decided on solid colors within the linear leaning towards pastel colors, apart from that I wanted to keep the design style of both Hashkings and Cryptobrewmaster games. The official use of Hops began with the Purity Laws of beer. which describes the ingredients allowed for brewing in Europe in the fifteenth century. Where it is included as the third ingredient authorized by the Bavarian Duke William IV.
Quise que se viera un poco más actualizado así que me decidí por darle un leve sombreado para que se vea actual. Y hablando de actualidad, el ácido del lúpulo que lleva por nombre alfa, que tienen un suave efecto antibiótico favoreciendo la actividad de la levadura de malteado. Como la malta es dulce, el amargor del lúpulo lo equilibra.
I wanted it to look a bit more up to date so I decided to give it a little shading to make it look current. And speaking of news, the hop acid called alpha, which has a mild antibiotic effect, favoring the activity of the malting yeast. Since the malt is sweet, the hop bitterness balances it out.
Las líneas para valorizar el dibujo de verdad me encanta. Así que no dudé en colocárselas. Algo común en la mayoría de mis dibujos. El uso de las plantas de lúpulo y cannabis es que las flores de ambas plantas es lo más requerido de ambas plantas. Dato curioso las plantas masculinas del lúpulo y las de cannabis son desechadas para evitar que polinicen a las femeninas, lo que haría que las flores, se llenasen de semillas.
The lines to enhance the drawing really love it, so do not hesitate to place them, something common in most of my drawings. The common use of hops and cannabis plants is that the flowers of both plants are the most required of both plants. Curious fact, the male plants of hops and cannabis are discarded to prevent them from pollinating the female ones, which would make the flowers fill with seeds.
Más detalles en el dibujo, un poco de brillo para resaltar. Así funciona el lúpulo en la cerveza dándole variedad como lo son algunos de los más conocidos: brewer's gold y el northern brewer o nordbrauer o cascade, que aportan más amargos que aromáticos. Y están Los lúpulos aromáticos como las variedades zatec que los contiene la cerveza pilsener, el spalt, el tettnanger. Son los que se utilizan para conferir aromas a las cervezas.
More details in the drawing, a bit of brightness to highlight. This is how hops work in beer, giving it variety, such as some of the best known: brewer's gold and northern brewer or nordbrauer or cascade, which provide more bitterness than aromatics. And there are Aromatic hops such as the zatec varieties that contain them in pilsener beer, spalt, tettnanger. They are the ones used to give aromas to beers.
Después de prender el porro y tomar una birra, tenemos que saber que el lúpulo no contiene THC ni CBD, pero su alto contenido en lupulinas amargas, le confieren un alto nivel relajante y antiestrés.
Cogollos de Lúpulo trasfiere a la cerveza sus efectos químicos, a lo mejor es el motivo por el cual al combinar lúpulo y alcohol, se potencian uno a otro. Y esto crea un efecto físico y mental en el sujeto consumidor, haciendo que el combinar cerveza y marihuana, sea como tomar un alcohol más potente, y obtener un estado de embriaguez más notorio.
