Hola, muy buenos días a todos los miembros de esta hermosa comunidad venezolana en #Hive. Cada vez que voy a escribir en este espacio siento una emoción inmensa porque si hay algo de lo que me siento feliz y orgullosa, es de mis raíces. Haber nacido en Venezuela y permanecer aun en ella desde hace más de 50 años, viviendo y disfrutando cada día de sus riquezas, sus costumbres, su cultura, su gastronomía, y su gente bella, es algo que valoro y siento placer de compartir con el mundo.

Quise hacer esta iniciativa ya que hace casi 40 años tuve el placer de vivir en la ciudad de la cordialidad, la hermosa San Cristóbal, en el estado Táchira, y la que forma parte de la región andina de nuestro país. Cuando tenía 16 años, mi padre, quien vivía allá desde que se separó de mi madre, quiso compartir más tiempo conmigo que simplemente algunos días de vacaciones una que otra vez, por eso me propuso que mi último año escolar de bachillerato lo hiciera en San Cristóbal y me pareció no sólo una maravillosa idea porque fue una de las convivencias más nutritivas de mi vida, sino porque me llevó a conocer cada rincón de la ciudad que le fue posible, incluso, muchos pueblos de ese estado.

En aquella época, mi padre era Director de Sanidad del estado Táchira, y por ende debía recorrer a menudo las poblaciones del lugar. Qué lástima que en aquella época no contábamos con los inteligentes celulares, pero él me facilitó una cámara que entre mis primos, mi hermana menor, y yo, logramos captar con ésta algunas fotos de los lugares por donde pasábamos. Hoy en día tengo 30 años sin visitar mi segunda tierra, porque así la siento por todo lo que viví en ella, momentos hermosos y trascendentales de mi adolescencia, grandes amigos, bellas vivencias con mis hermanos y primos, largos y hermosos paseos, y los más lindos recuerdos que puedo atesorar de mi juventud al lado de mi padre. Me encantaría visitarla nuevamente pero actualmente no puedo, así que se me ocurrió ver a través de otros usuarios los cambios que han surgido en todos estos años.

La iniciativa consiste en lo siguiente:

-Yo voy a publicar las mejores fotos que pude encontrar en el baúl de los recuerdos, de aquellos tiempos y lugares de la hermosa San Cristóbal. (40 años atrás)
-Colocaré los nombres y algunas referencias que recuerdo de cada lugar de las fotos.
-Todos mis amigos de Hive que en la actualidad estén, o vayan de visita, o sean de esa linda ciudad, los invito a escoger un sitio o varios de los que yo estoy publicando y conseguir fotos del mismo en la actualidad para poder ver los cambios a lo largo de estos 40 años.
-Yo voy a invitar a los amigos que sé que viven allá, pero ustedes pueden invitar a muchos más que conozcan y sepan que están en ese hermoso lugar.
-El título de la iniciativa es: San Cristóbal, antes y después (40 años) / Foto que seleccionaron.
-Por favor me mencionan en alguna parte del contenido para yo poder ver el cambio.

Hello, good morning to all the members of this beautiful Venezuelan community in #Hive. Every time I go to write in this space I feel an immense emotion because if there is something that I feel happy and proud of, it is my roots. Being born in Venezuela and still living there for more than 50 years, living and enjoying every day its riches, its customs, its culture, its gastronomy, and its beautiful people, is something that I value and feel pleasure to share with the world.

I wanted to do this initiative because almost 40 years ago I had the pleasure of living in the city of cordiality, the beautiful San Cristóbal, in the state of Táchira, and the one that is part of the Andean region of our country. When I was 16 years old, my father, who had lived there since he separated from my mother, wanted to share more time with me than just a few days of vacation once in a while, that's why he suggested that I do my last year of high school in San Cristóbal and I thought it was not only a wonderful idea because it was one of the most nutritious gatherings of my life, but also because it took me to know every corner of the city that was possible, including many towns in that state.

At that time, my father was Director of Health of the state of Táchira, and therefore he often had to visit the local towns. What a pity that at that time we did not have smart cell phones, but he provided me with a camera that, between my cousins, my younger sister, and I, managed to capture some photos of the places we passed through. Today I am 30 years old without visiting my second land, because that is how I feel because of everything I lived in it, beautiful and transcendental moments of my adolescence, great friends, beautiful experiences with my brothers and cousins, long and beautiful walks, and the most beautiful memories that I can treasure of my youth next to my father. I would love to visit it again but currently I can't, so it occurred to me to see through other users the changes that have arisen in all these years.

The initiative consists of the following:

• I am going to publish the best photos that I could find in the trunk of memories, of those times and places of the beautiful San Cristóbal. (40 years ago)
• I will place the names and some references that I remember from each place in the photos.
