Una fabulosa expedición realizamos mi esposo y yo el día de ayer. Salimos con el objetivo de mirar de cerca la vegetación que cubre a mi amada Venezuela y lo logramos.
My husband and I had a fabulous expedition yesterday. We went out with the objective of taking a close look at the vegetation that covers my beloved Venezuela and we succeeded.
Esta gigantesca roca anuncia a los senderistas, su llegada a la cueva del indio que se halla en el parque que lleva este mismo nombre Cuevas del Indio ubicada en el Municipio el Hatillo Estado Miranda.
La roca tiene una altura significativa, se toca el cielo desde la punta. Esa formación hueca entre la piedra es natural.
En la foto donde me ubico yo inicia el camino hacia la cueva. En la foto donde se ubica mi esposo es un barranco sin fondo.
This gigantic rock announces to the hikers, their arrival to the Indian Cave located in the park that bears the same name Cuevas del Indio located in the Municipality of Hatillo, Miranda State.

Pues, les cuento que la exploración fue todo un mundo lleno de aprendizajes. Efectivamente hay rocas con las mismas texturas de las que se encuentran en la superficie externa. Sin embargo, muchas son completamente diferente.
One possible way to find out was to explore the textures, color and shapes of the rock formations. We are not experts but it never hurts to get into one of these characters, it is part of the enjoyment of the adventure ha,ha,ha,ha.

In the Indian's cave you live a historical present full of imagination and adventures. I went back to that primitive Venezuela where large indigenous communities lived in places like these.
My husband used to say as a joke: the Indians and caciques were comfortable in this place.
Y es que el comentario viene a raíz de todos esos pasadizos estratégicos y formaciones naturales que aparantan brindar seguridad y confort.
Ninguna de las partes de la cueva brinda desconfiaza. Lo digo en el siguiente sentido, las formaciones rocosas son sólidas, no existe alguna parte en ella que muestre peligro de desmoronamiento.
Increiblemente hasta el suelo es de roca firme.
And the comment comes from all those strategic passages and natural formations that appear to provide security and comfort.
None of the parts of the cave are distrustful. I say this in the following sense, the rock formations are solid, there is no part of it that shows any danger of crumbling.
Incredibly, even the floor is made of solid rock.
Dentro de la cueva se observan formaciones que nacen de arriba hacia abajo y de abajo hacia arriba.
En esta imagen ven una muestra de las que brotan de arriba, son llamadas estalactitas porque como les digo cuelgan desde el techo.

En la compilación de este grupo de imágenes tratamos de capturar ambos sentidos de la formaciones rocosas. Es el espacio donde mejor se proyecta la idea.
Cómo quizá puedan notar, algunas imágenes quedan borrosas porque el espacio es muy oscuro. Con una cámara más profesional se puediese apresiar mejor el espacio. Aún así hicimos mi esposo y yo el mejor esfuerzo para presentar el trabajo.
In the compilation of this group of images we tried to capture both senses of the rock formations. This is the space where the idea is best projected.
As you may notice, some images are blurred because the space is very dark. With a more professional camera the space could be better captured. Even so, my husband and I did our best to present the work.
