Today I join the celebration and initiative carried out by the @c-venezuela community where we are encouraged to tell part of our Christmas traditions and what we like most about Christmas. I extend a cordial invitation to participate and surround ourselves with the beautiful energy of the Christmas spirit.

Hoy me uno a la celebración e iniciativa que lleva a cabo la comunidad @c-venezuela donde nos animan a contar parte de nuestras tradiciones decembrinas y aquello que más nos gusta de la navidad. What is your favorite Venezuelan Christmas tradition?
Christmas is a time of the year where the planets seem to align and the universe conspires to create an atmosphere where we can breathe harmony, prosperity and family togetherness.
We are invaded by feelings of joy and sharing. Personally I have two traditions linked, traditions of European culture and traditions of Venezuelan culture and I can say that it is wonderful.
On the subject of Venezuelan traditions, first of all I love each and every one that I have known. In the particular case, the Christmas dinner, the traditional music in every home, the aguinaldos, religious traditions such as going to the rooster mass (even though I am not Catholic), the nativity scene, decorating the house from head to toe, many typical foods such as the hallaca and the ham bread that should not be missed, as well as the chicken salad.
The preparation of the hallaca is a kind of ritual where the whole family participates, it is one of the traditions that I treasure the most.
Among others that I can name that I love is the secret friend and something that had been lost but is back in fashion as it is to share Christmas cards.
Gifts, parties, food, drinks, home warmth, family togetherness and all those healthy excesses that make our hearts happy.
¿Cuál es la tradición venezolana de Navidad que más te gusta?
La navidad es una época del año donde al parecer se alinean los planetas y el universo conspira para hacer una atmósfera donde podemos respirar, armonía, prosperidad y unión familiar.
Nos invaden sentimientos de dicha y compartir. En lo personal tengo dos tradiciones ligadas, tradiciones de cultura europea y tradiciones de cultura venezolana y puedo decir que es maravilloso.
En el tema de tradiciones venezolanas, primero que nada me encantan todas y cada una de las que he conocido. En el caso particular, la cena navideña, las músicas tradición en cada hogar, los aguinaldos, tradiciones religiosas como ir a misa del gallo (aun cuando no soy católica) el pesebre, adornar la casa de pies a cabeza, muchas comidas típicas como la hallaca y el pan de jamón que no debe faltar, así como la ensalada de gallina.
La preparación de la hallaca es una especie de ritual donde toda la familia participa, es una de las tradiciones que más atesoro.
Entre otras que puedo nombrar que me encantan es el amigo secreto y algo que se había perdido pero que está nuevamente de moda como lo es compartir tarjetas de navidad.
Regalos, fiestas, comidas, bebidas, calor de hogar, familia reunida y todos esos excesos sanos que nos hace feliz al corazón.
Tell us how do you celebrate Christmas in your family?
In my family we adopt many Venezuelan customs and traditions that we end up merging, we celebrate Christmas in a peculiar way.
Christmas dinner consists of hallacas, ham bread, pernil and we fuse them with part of the Portuguese culture in which it is common to have black cake, baked potatoes, chochos as appetizers, olives, cheese, red wine in punch, we all sit together at the table to eat and give thanks, share under an atmosphere of harmony, laughter and well being.
The next day we made the popular carne espetada. We spent the rest of the year eating pernil and hallacas, it was very common at home to hear:
"Hallaca for breakfast, hallaca for lunch and hallaca for dinner, hallaca, hallaca, hallaca, hallaca". Everything was laughter.
Music at moderate volume the rest of the year, little tree, the nativity scene that covered half of the living room that my mother made, and a tradition she had was that before placing on top of the nativity scene, a huge image she had of the divine child in Portuguese version, we all had to kiss your little head. Custom and tradition that I respected until the rest of her days.
Always be grateful for the goodness and the good things that God gave us this year and ask, project ourselves for new goals and what we want to achieve in the coming year.
Cuéntanos cómo celebran la Navidad en tu familia.
En mi familia adoptamos muchas costumbres y tradiciones venezolanas que terminamos fusionando, celebramos la navidad de una forma peculiar.
La cena navideña, consta de hallacas, pan de jamón, pernil y las fusionamos con parte de la cultura portuguesa en la que es común la torta negra, papas asadas, chochos como pasapalos, aceitunas, quesos, vino tinto en ponche, nos sentamos todos juntos en la mesa a comer y dar gracias, compartir bajo un ambiente de armonía, risas y bienestar.
Al día siguiente hacíamos la popular carne espetada. Pasábamos el resto del año comiendo pernil y hallacas, era muy común en casa escuchar:
"Hallaca para el desayuno, hallaca para el almuerzo y hallaca para la cena, hallaca, hallaca, hallaca". Todo era risas
Musiquita a moderado volumen el resto del año, arbolito, el pesebre que abarcaba la mitad de la sala que hacía mi madre, y una tradición que ella tenía era antes de colocar en la cima del nacimiento, una imagen enorme que ella tenía del divino niño en versión portuguesa, todos debíamos besar tu cabecita. Costumbre y tradición que respeté hasta el resto de sus días.
Ser siempre agradecidos por las bondades y las cosas buenas que Dios nos otorgó el año en curso y pedir, proyectarse para las nuevas metas y lo que queremos lograr el año entrante.
What is your Christmas wish for Hive?
I think it is the wish of every Hiver to ask for positive energies so that the value of our currency is raised and maintained.
Personally, I have some additional wishes to give, not only for our Hive but for the ecosystem as such, as well as for all of us who make life in it.
It is my most sincere wish that we breathe a better environment around it, without toxicity, without selfishness.
May we all really have space in it and make it more equitable.
The power of each one is used to strengthen Hive and help people grow, for this it is good to start from ourselves, from our inner selves and make a real change of personality. Because many times we can see that power is used in a not very good way, repeating behaviors of the past that did not lead us to anything good.
If we want to attract investors, that allow us to strengthen and give more value to our currency, we must show that we really are the difference by providing what we really are, a solid and reliable blockchain, but that also has a real human warmth where there is no inequality or differences.
I know we are on the right track, we are on the right foot.
I wish that Hive can vibrate so high that it becomes the first blockchain with the spirit of a social network, where great artists, singers, cartoonists, influential investors are attracted and can be. With a huge strength with its cryptocurrency and its value remains equal or above the price of a local currency with great prestige as is the Dollar or the Euro, if I am going to aspire even higher and why not? That its value is even higher than the same Bitcoin, keeping the latter at its highest value.
Let's be the example to follow for other blockchain and social networks.
My personal wish is to continue to grow and continue to contribute more of myself, with my grain of sand, as part of the gear that makes this great chain roll, in any way.
¿Cuál es tu deseo está Navidad para Hive?
Creo que es el deseo de todo Hiver el pedir energías positivas para que el valor de nuestra moneda se eleve y se mantenga.
En lo personal, tengo unos deseos adicionales que dar, no solo para nuestro Hive sino para el ecosistema como tal, así como para todos los que hacemos vida en ella.
Es mi deseo más sincero que se respire un mejor ambiente en torno a ella, sin toxicidades, sin egoísmos.
Qué todos realmente tengamos espacio en ella y lograr que sea más equitativo.
El poder de cada quién sea usado para fortalecer Hive y ayudar a crecer a las personas, para ello es bueno empezar desde nosotros mismos, desde nuestros adentros y hacer un cambio verdadero de personalidad. Pues muchas veces podemos ver que el poder es usado de no muy buena forma repitiendo conductas del pasado que no nos llevaron a nada bueno.
Si queremos atraer inversores, que permitan fortalecer y dar más valor a nuestra moneda, debemos mostrar que realmente somos la diferencia aportando lo que realmente somos, una blockchain sólida y confiable, pero que además cuenta con un verdadero calor humano donde no existe la desigualdad ni las diferencias.
Se que vamos por buen camino, vamos con buen pie.
Deseo que Hive pueda vibrar tan alto, tan alto que se convierta en la primera de las blockchain con espíritu de red social, donde grandes artistas, cantantes, dibujantes, inversores influyentes se sientan atraídos y puedan estar. Con una solidez enorme con su criptomoneda y su valor se mantenga igual o sobre el precio de una moneda local con prestigio grande como lo es el Dolar o el Euro, si voy a aspirar aun más alto y ¿Por qué no? Que su valor sea aun más elevado que el mismo Bitcoin, manteniéndose este último en su valor más alto.
Seamos el ejemplo a seguir de las demás blockchain y redes sociales.
Mi deseo personal, seguir creciendo y seguir aportando más de mí, con mi granito de arena, como parte del engranaje que hace rodar esta gran cadena, de cualquier forma.
