Concurso Paisajes venezolanos de la comunidad Venezuela espero que ustedes también se animen a participar y que se animen a expresar el amor que sienten por nuestro precioso país a través de fotografías, canciones, cuentos o poemas.
Today I am very happy because I have the opportunity to participate in the Venezuelan Landscapes Contest of the Venezuelan community. Venezuela, ubicado al norte de América del sur, es un país precioso, lleno de muchísimos matices y cultura, uno de mis anhelos es llegar a recorrer mi país por completo para conocerlo en su totalidad antes de siquiera pensar en salir y explorar fuera de sus fronteras, ya he conocido varios lugares pero aún me queda mucho camino por recorrer.
Venezuela, located in the north of South America, is a beautiful country, full of many nuances and culture, one of my desires is to get to travel my country completely to know it in its entirety before even thinking about leaving and exploring outside its borders, I have already visited several places but I still have a long way to go.
Uno de los primeros lugares que conocí obviamente es Montalbán, el pueblo de mi padre, el lugar donde crecí los primeros ocho años de mi vida, un pueblo grande y pintoresco al oeste en el estado Carabobo (al centro del país) este lugar tiene un clima fresco generalmente, aunque hay una época en que hace mucho calor por las tardes. A las afueras del pueblo nos encontramos con un precioso lugar llamado "Agua de Obispo" también conocido entre los locales simplemente como "El Campo". Es un sitio precioso, lleno de mucha vegetación y hasta una quebrada, por lo tanto es bastante fresco.
One of the first places I obviously knew is Montalbán, my father's town, the place where I grew up the first eight years of my life, a large and picturesque town in the west in the state of Carabobo (in the center of the country) this place has a generally cool climate, although there is a time when it is very hot in the afternoons. On the outskirts of town we found a beautiful place called "Agua de Obispo" (bishop's water) also known among the locals simply as "El Campo" (the countryside). It is a beautiful place, full of vegetation and even a creek, so it is quite cool.

Pero definitivamente que una de las cosas más hermosas que tiene este pueblo es que está rodeado de montañas que son las que le aportan su clima agradable, la más famosa de ellas es "La Copa", un lugar bastante frío, les puedo contar que a la una de la tarde todavía hacía mucho frío en ese lugar en la ocasión en que fuimos, pero es maravilloso porque pude obtener una vista maravillosa de todo el pueblo.
But definitely one of the most beautiful things that this town has is that it is surrounded by mountains that give it its pleasant climate, the most famous of them is "La Copa", a very cold place, I can tell you that at one in the afternoon it was still very cold in that place when we went, but it is wonderful because I could get a wonderful view of the whole town.
Otro estado maravilloso que tuve la oportunidad de conocer es el estado Zulia, Maracaibo (la capital) tiene un clima extremadamente caluroso pero no se puede negar que es una bellísima ciudad, sobre todo me encantó el bellísimo templo, icono de la ciudad, mejor conocida como "La Basílica de la Chinita"
Another wonderful state that I had the opportunity to visit is the state of Zulia, Maracaibo (the capital) has an extremely hot climate but there is no denying that it is a beautiful city, especially I loved the beautiful temple, icon of the city, better known as "La Basilica de la Chinita".

Una de las mejores cosas que pude hacer fue contemplar el precioso atardecer en el lago desde los palafitos (preciosas casitas de madera que están sobre el agua) en San Lorenzo.

La capital, es decir, la ciudad de Caracas tampoco se quedó atrás, disfruté muchísimo cuando mi familia y yo nos tomamos fotografías con actores, en especial con este que estaba interpretando al general Gómez.

Una de las experiencias que más disfruté fue cuando visité la Cueva del Guacharo, un lugar imponente y lleno del griterío de los pájaros, oscuro, un tanto tenebroso pero muy fascinante. Lo que más llamó mi atención fue la gran cantidad de estalactitas y estalagmitas con formas curiosas que hay en su interior, de las cuales lamentablemente no pude tomar fotografías porque con mi teléfono celular de entonces no podía hacerlo.
One of the experiences I enjoyed the most was when I visited the Guacharo Cave, an imposing place full of the screaming of birds, dark, a bit dark but very fascinating. What most caught my attention was the large number of stalactites and stalagmites with curious shapes inside, of which unfortunately I could not take pictures because I could not do it with my cell phone at the time.
¿Y qué les puedo decir de las playas que tiene mi país? son absolutamente maravillosas, llenas de un azul brillante que se mimetiza con el cielo, donde incluso no sabes donde termina uno y empieza el otro, a pesar del calor de las costas, la brisa te hace sentir fresco, el sonido de las gaviotas y demás aves marinas te hace olvidarla rutina, es simplemente una experiencia grandiosa.
And what can I tell you about the beaches in my country? They are absolutely wonderful, full of a bright blue that blends with the sky, where you don't even know where one ends and the other begins, despite the heat of the coasts, the breeze makes you feel cool, the sound of the seagulls and other seabirds makes you forget the routine, it is simply a great experience.
Uno de las mejores experiencias de vacaciones que tuve fue cuando viajé junto a mi familia en lancha hacia un paradisíaco lugar llamado "Isla Larga".
One of the best vacation experiences I had was when I traveled with my family by boat to a paradisiacal place called "Isla Larga".
Pero las playas más hermosas, en mi opinión, son las que están en Tucacas, estado Falcón, como esta del Parque Nacional Morrocoy. Seguramente existen en el mundo playas bellísimas, no lo pongo en duda, pero estas playas venezolanas son conocidas por su extrema belleza y sus aguas cristalinas.
But the most beautiful beaches, in my opinion, are the ones in Tucacas, Falcón state, like this one in Morrocoy National Park. Surely there are beautiful beaches in the world, I do not doubt it, but these Venezuelan beaches are known for their extreme beauty and crystal clear waters.
Hay muchísimas razones para amar a nuestra patria, su gente, su gastronomía y desde luego sus preciosos paisajes, somos increíblemente privilegiados pues poseemos una geografía preciosa: selvas, playas, montañas, desiertos y hasta nieve en los andes, es decir que podemos vivir diversas experiencias dentro de nuestro propio país. Todavía hay muchos lugares que no he visitado pero me encantaría, entre ellos está la isla de Margarita y el Salto ángel, espero poder ver sus hermosos paisajes algún día.
There are many reasons to love our country, its people, its gastronomy and of course its beautiful landscapes, we are incredibly privileged because we have a beautiful geography: jungles, beaches, mountains, deserts and even snow in the Andes, that is to say that we can live diverse experiences within our own country. There are still many places that I have not visited but I would love to, among them is Margarita Island and Angel Falls, I hope to be able to see its beautiful landscapes someday.
