Hello,
I am the creator of the video (in French) and I would like to briefly explain its content to everyone. "El Profesor" is an animation I use to highlight key points in advanced studies.
This video explains why the Book of Revelation is so difficult to read and therefore so difficult to understand:
Consider that the Book of Revelation recounts the events of an accident! (If you watch the video, you will see the animation of the accident.)
Jesus could have given us a summary of the events of the accident, taking into account the different accounts of the witnesses! But no!
In reality, Jesus gave us the testimonies of the various witnesses: the 7 churches, the 7 seals, the 7 trumpets, and the 7 plagues, etc. The complexity of the reading stems primarily from this: it is actually up to the reader to create the correct chronological summary of the events.
This is why the book's structure is essential! Indeed, in an accident, witnesses have different perspectives, and in the structure, I explain that there are introductions to series of seven (churches, trumpets, etc.), which, unfortunately, are almost never used to interpret the text. This is a shame and certainly a source of errors! Because these reference points allow for a better understanding of the chronology of events in the book, in my opinion.
What do you think?
Does this presentation help you better understand the book and/or these reading difficulties?
