The Coquette Version of Amelia

Mi mamá Hive account@arbolaria viajó a España en el año 2011 y lo encontró en una tienda de H&M donde me estaba comprando varias cosas que le había encargado, yo no le encargué algo así, pero cuanto le agradezco que se haya fijado en él para mí y me lo haya regalado.

Nunca imagine tener un vestido de este estilo y mucho menos que algún día iba a estar incluido en lo que hoy se ha popularizado como estilo Coquette. Y si lo vemos bien, en su color, el corte, la tela de encaje, cuando yo me di cuenta de que este estilo estaba en tendencia, inmediatamente lo identifiqué con mucho potencial para este 2024.

I never imagined having a dress of this style much less that someday it would be included in what today has become popular as the Coquette style. And if we see it well, in its color, the cut, and the lace fabric, when I realized that this style was in trend, I immediately identified it with a lot of potential for 2024.

Es ese tipo de prendas a las que les puedes sacar un provecho increíble, ya que la excelente calidad que tienen en su confección hace que siempre luzca cómo nuevo y la forma como fue diseñado también hace posible utilizarlo de diferentes formas.

Yo particularmente lo he utilizado en momentos muy importantes de mi vida, la primera vez fue en la navidad del 2011,también para la primera comunión de una ahijada, para hacer una presentación crucial en una rueda de prensa y para la graduación de bachiller de mi hijo que es la última que recuerdo, pero sé que fueron muchas otras.

I particularly have used it in very important moments of my life, the first time was at Christmas 2011, also for the first communion of a goddaughter, to make a crucial presentation at a press conference, and for my son's high school graduation which is the last one I remember, but I know there were many others.

Y no suficiente con todo esto, espero poder utilizarlo muchas veces más aprovechando que el estilo Coquette está en el ambiente. Con esto queda claro que me gusta este estilo y lo estaré utilizando.

Estas fotos resultaron de una sesión que me hice el día de mi cumpleaños, justamente para producir este post. En relación con el maquillaje no hice nada especial, me maquillé como lo hago prácticamente a diario para ir a trabajar.

These photos are the result of a session I did on my birthday, just to produce this post. I didn't do anything special with my make-up, I did my make-up as I do almost every day to go to work.

Lo que sí hice muy diferente y a propósito fue recogerme el cabello en media cola, ya que desde que me hice este corte no lo uso recogido prácticamente nunca. Pero tenía que hacerlo para usar este lazo de cuero que pueden ver que tengo en el cabello.

What I did do very differently and on purpose was to put my hair up in a half-tail, since I've had this haircut I don't wear it up practically ever. But I had to do it to wear this leather bow that you can see I have in my hair.

El lazo lo compré en noviembre, cuando aún no me había enterado de que el estilo coquette existía, me gusto por el cuero y por el color, por lo general veo que el estilo coquette hace empleo de lazos de cintas. Pero… lazo es lazo y si me caracterizo por algo es por mezclar todas las cosas que dan vuelta en mi vida. Así que ahora podemos hablar de un estilo Coquette Hippie, esa soy yo, ahora sí soy Amelia.

I bought the bow in November when I still didn't know that the coquette style existed, I liked it because of the leather and the color, usually, I see that the coquette style makes use of ribbon bows. But... ribbon is ribbon and if I am characterized by something is to mix all the things that go around in my life. So now we can talk about a Coquette Hippie style, that's me, now I am Amelia.

Y para completar mi declaración las sandalias son del mismo color del lazo y del mismo material, yo me enamoré de usarlo así.

And to complete my statement the sandals are the same color as the bow and the same material, I fell in love with wearing them like this.

Espero que no se aburran de verme todo este año con este color y este vestido, jajaja, vamos a ver que otras cositas tengo en mi closet para ir más con este estilo, eso sí, sin gastar nada, y así hacer posible ir con la moda de forma más sustentable y amigable con nuestro planeta.
