¡Hola nuevamente mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero esten muy bien, les comento que este fin de semana fui invitada a los quinceaños de la hermanita menor de mi mejor amiga de la infancia. La fiesta fue en su propia casa al aire libre por lo tanto debía pensar en un look cómodo y fresco, además tambíen tendría que considerar que iba a tomarles sus respectivas fotos en la fiesta por lo que el outfit debía permitirme movilizarme super bien por lo que los vestidos en este caso estaban descartados.
Hello again my dear friends of Hive! I hope you are doing well, this weekend I was invited to the Quinceañera of the younger sister of my best friend from childhood. The party was in her own house outdoors so I had to think of a comfortable and fresh look, also I had to consider that I was going to take their respective photos at the party so the outfit had to allow me to move super well so the dresses in this case were discarded.
La verdad es que aún no tengo una gran variedad de ropa por lo que no tenía muchas opciones para escoger, sobretodo en el área de las blusas formales y es algo que definitivamente debo arreglar porque cada vez que voy de compras mis ojos se dirigen a todas las prendas casuales y cuando justo tengo eventos siempre sufro con los outfits pero eso cambiará. Ahora, volviendo al tema de el look de la noche, ya tenía en mente justo lo que me pondría porque como mencioné necesitaba algo lindo, fresco, cómodo y que me permitiera movilizarme bien para perseguir cómodamente a la quinceañera por piso y arena jajaja.
El look que escogí se basó en una blusa muy linda, blanca, manga larga con puño de volantes y a pesar de parecer una prenda calurosa lo cierto es que la tela es muy fresca y al no ser ceñida no tuve molestias con la incomodidad por el ambiente caluroso. Para la parte de abajo decidí ponerme unos pantalones de vestir negros ajustados y unas botas de tacón bajo negros super cómodas para caminar y además elegantes para la ocasión, ellas son mis fieles compañeras para eventos todo terreno. Tienen tacón, no son ni tan altas ni tan bajas, eran perfectas.
The truth is that I still don't have a wide variety of clothes so I didn't have many options to choose from, especially in the area of formal blouses and it's something I definitely need to fix because every time I go shopping my eyes are drawn to all the casual outfits and when I have events I always suffer with the outfits but that will change. Now, getting back to the night's look, I already had in mind what I would wear because as I mentioned I needed something cute, cool, comfortable and that would allow me to move around and comfortably chase the quinceañera across the floor and sand hahaha.
The look I chose was based on a very cute white blouse, long sleeves with ruffled cuffs and even though it looks like a hot garment, the truth is that the fabric is very cool and since it's not tight fitting, I didn't have any discomfort due to the hot environment. For the bottom I decided to wear black slim fit dress pants and black low heeled boots super comfortable for walking and also elegant for the occasion, they are my faithful companions for all terrain events. They have a heel, they are not so high and not so low, they were perfect.
Los accesorios que complementarían el look serían unos aretes de perlitas hermosos que me encantan, que por cierto los pueden conseguir en un set de seis aretes por Shein, buenisimos. De collar, como no me gusta nada extravagante, de hecho en accesorios me gusta mucho lo minimalista, opté por mi cadenita de una virgensita que es una de mis prendas más preciadas porque es un regalo de mi madrina que conservo desde pequeña por lo tanto casi siempre la mantengo conmigo y es uno de mis accesorios favoritos para ciertas ocasiones.
The accessories that would complement the look would be beautiful pearl earrings that I love, which by the way you can get them in a set of six earrings by Shein, great. For the necklace, as I don't like anything extravagant, in fact in accessories I like minimalist, I opted for my little chain of a virgensita that is one of my most precious items because it is a gift from my godmother that I have kept since I was little so I almost always keep it with me and it is one of my favorite accessories for certain occasions.
Para el maquillaje decidí hacerme algo que usualmente no había probado antes como usar colores fríos y brillantes. Son pocas las veces que puedo maquillarme así que cuando llega el momento no desaprovecho la oportunidad jajaja. Utilicé dos tonos de azul y encima coloqué una sombra con glitter de color celeste para darle ese pop de brillo que tanto quería para la noche. Utilicé una base ligera y no tan pesada debido al calor que sabía que habría esa noche y para no hacer competencia con los colores de mis ojos opté por unos labios nudes.
For makeup I decided to do something I usually haven't tried before like using cold and bright colors. I rarely get the chance to do my makeup so when the time comes I don't miss the opportunity hahaha. I used two shades of blue and layered a light blue glitter shadow on top to give it that pop of sparkle I wanted so badly for the night. I used a light and not so heavy foundation due to the heat I knew there would be that night and not to compete with my eye colors I opted for nude lips.
Y así es como luce todo el look final, para acompañar todo eso también me llevé una carterita pequeña negra con una cadenita la cual tenía todo el espacio que necesitaba para lo más esencial como el maquillaje de retoque, el teléfono y algunas que otras cosas. Me sentí super cómoda esa noche durante todo el eventom, a pesar del calor, no me sentí sofocada, trabajé con tranquilidad y hasta pude echar un bailecito por allí por lo que cumplió totalmente con todas las expectativas. Así que si tienen algún evento al aire libre opten por prendas claras, elegantes pero no tan ceñidas para que la piel pueda respirar y refrescarse y pasarán la noche genial.
And that's how the final look looks like, to go with all that I also took a small black bag with a little chain which had all the space I needed for the essentials like makeup, phone and a few other things. I felt super comfortable that night during the whole event, despite the heat, I didn't feel suffocated, I worked calmly and I could even do a little dance around, so it totally fulfilled all expectations. So if you have an outdoor event opt for light, elegant but not so tight clothes so that the skin can breathe and cool down and you will have a great night.
