El día de hoy me gustaría compartirles unas lindas fotos que me sacó mi mejor amiga el día de Halloween, donde se puede apreciar de mejor manera mi disfraz para la fiesta que organizamos en mi casa. Si bien compartí el tutorial AQUÍ, ya es hora de mostrarles el resultado final, con maquillaje y producción incluida, jeje.
La sesión de fotos que me sacó mi mejor amiga me fascinó, sobre todo porque teníamos a nuestras amigas con sus celulares alumbrándonos para lograr mejor iluminación. Mi disfraz se basa en el personaje Billy Loomis, cómo mencioné anteriormente, y una frase que se quedó conmigo de esa película, dicha por él, fue:
“Las películas no crean psicópatas. Las películas hacen a los psicópatas más creativos”
Mi disfraz era, en parte, sencillo de recrear, pues con la franela blanca ya tenía gran parte resuelta, la máscara y un buen jean que se viera vintage harían el resto. A la hora del maquillaje busqué varias referencias en pinterest, pues quería algo que se viera sangriento, macabro si se quiere, y encontré varios que se inspiraban en It, el payaso, así que por ese terminé inclinándome.

Quedé bastante contento con el resultado final, pero lo que me hizo sentir completamente seguro de él fue cuando, al llegar mi prima, lo primero que me dijo fue: Me encantan tus vibras de Billy con It, espero que de eso sea el disfraz. Agradecí que al menos si se entendiera, al menos por conocedores del cine de terror jejeje.
Ya me disfracé de zombie, de vampiro, de bruja y de asesino serial, me pregunto ¿qué seré el siguiente año? Espero seguir superándome y, sobre todo, divirtiéndome mientras la paso chévere. Lo que me gusta de Halloween es la oportunidad de tener diversión a través de piezas de arte del horror, y un sitio donde la moda y el horror se fucionan. ¿Y ustedes se disfrazaron para Halloween? Today I would like to share with you some nice pictures that my best friend took of me on Halloween, where you can better appreciate my costume for the party we organized at my house. Although I shared the tutorial HERE, it's time to show you the final result, with makeup and production included, hehe.
The photo shoot that my best friend took of me fascinated me, especially because we had our friends with their cell phones lighting us up for better illumination. My costume was based on the character Billy Loomis, as I mentioned earlier, and one line that stayed with me from that movie, said by him, was:
"Movies don't make psychos. Movies make psychos more creative".
My costume was, in part, simple to recreate, because with the white flannel I already had most of it solved, the mask and a good vintage looking jean would do the rest. When it came to makeup I looked for several references on pinterest, because I wanted something that looked bloody, macabre if you will, and I found several that were inspired by It, the clown, so I ended up leaning towards that one.

I was pretty happy with the end result, but what made me feel completely confident about it was when, upon my cousin's arrival, the first thing she said to me was: I love your Billy vibes with It, I hope that's what the costume is about. I was thankful that at least if it was understood, at least by horror movie lovers hehehehe.
I've already dressed up as a zombie, vampire, witch and serial killer, I wonder what I will be next year? I hope to keep improving myself and, above all, having fun while having a great time. What I like about Halloween is the opportunity to have fun through horror art pieces, and a place where fashion and horror come together. Have you dressed up for Halloween?
