¡Hola mi gente bonita!, espero se encuentren muy bien, estoy feliz de compartir mi participación en el segundo reto de hive’s top Model, inspirando mi maquillaje en la piedra de la armonía, el cuarzo violeta o mejor conocido como la amatista, acompáñenme a conocer el proceso de tras de esta sesión de fotos.
Hello my beautiful people, I hope you are very well, I am happy to share my participation in the second challenge of hive's top Model, inspiring my makeup in the stone of harmony, the violet quartz or better known as the amethyst, join me to know the process behind this photo shoot.
Seguimos en el mes de marzo que tiene como temática la naturaleza y vida, en este segundo reto el tema es recursos naturales, así que me puse un poco creativa y quise tomar la amatista como inspiración para mi maquillaje y todo el concepto de las fotos. El cuarzo violeta o amatista es un mineral conocido popularmente por tener propiedades curativas para las migrañas y dolores, ayuda abrir la mente para la creatividad, genera armonía y calma en lugares y personas, también es utilizado para bloquear malas energías, en fin tiene muchos beneficio y utilidades, lo que significa que, además de hermosa, es muy interesante.
We continue in the month of March that has as its theme nature and life, in this second challenge the theme is natural resources, so I got a little creative and wanted to take the amethyst as inspiration for my makeup and the whole concept of the photos. The violet quartz or amethyst is a mineral popularly known for having healing properties for migraines and pains, it helps to open the mind for creativity, it generates harmony and calm in places and people, it is also used to block bad energies, in short it has many benefits and utilities, which means that, besides beautiful, it is very interesting.
El proceso de creación del maquillaje fue sencillo, un maquillaje en tonos violetas y plateados, difuminando para que diera un efecto de mineral o diamante, utilice pestañas postizas para darle un plus a los ojos y labios de un tono muy llamativo, la verdad es la mezcla de varios tonos morados, aunque en las fotos según la luz se ven diferentes, son originalmente violetas casi magenta, agregue unos diamantes de fantasía que fueron una tortura pegarlos con la pega de pestañas, solo agregué unos cuantos y tarde media hora. En cuanto al vestuario, como mi idea era tomar fotos en primer plano de la cara, solo utilice un top color violeta que armonizara con el maquillaje.
The process of creating the makeup was simple, a makeup in violet and silver tones, blurring to give a mineral or diamond effect, use false eyelashes to give a plus to the eyes and lips of a very striking tone, the truth is the mixture of several purple tones, although in the photos depending on the light they look different, they are originally violet almost magenta, add some rhinestones that were a torture to glue them with the eyelash glue, I only added a few and it took me half an hour. As for the wardrobe, as my idea was to take close-up photos of the face, I only used a purple top that harmonized with the makeup.
Sin embargo, la creación del set y de las que serían mis amatistas, (que realmente fueron trozos de hielo) no fue tan sencillo, primero por imprevistos de tiempo me vi en la obligación de cambiar un poco el concepto porque se tomaron las fotos de noche y la idea principal no podía ejecutarla sin luz natural, no quedaría bien, así que improvise con ayuda de unos amigos un set con mi aro de luz y otra lámpara que conseguimos, una tela negra que sería mi fondo para los cuarzo (Trozos de hielo) que se derretían por segundos, lo que hizo hacer las poses precisas antes que desaparecieran, también utilice escarcha para darle más brillo a las amatistas.
However, the creation of the set and those that would be my amethysts (which were really pieces of ice) was not so easy, first due to unforeseen time constraints I was forced to change the concept a bit because the photos were taken at night and the main idea could not be executed without natural light, it would not look good, so I improvised with the help of some friends a set with my light ring and another lamp that we got, a black cloth that would be my background for the quartz (pieces of ice) that melted by seconds, which made me do the precise poses before they disappeared, I also used frost to give more shine to the amethysts.
Termine empapada, llena de azúcar y escarcha, pero me encanto el resultado, creo que es una de los proyectos más arriesgados que he realizado en hive, bueno, he realizado algunas cosas fuera de zona de confort, pero esta sin duda fue una experiencia. I ended up soaked, full of sugar and frosting, but I loved the result, I think it is one of the riskiest projects I have done in hive, well, I have done some things out of my comfort zone, but this was definitely an experience.
