Sí existe un dress code para una gala, el blanco y el negro siempre serán el mejor aliado, un poco de minimalismo y simplicidad pueden hacer que se destaquen los rasgos naturales; negros para estilizar las formas, blancos para que las miradas se mantengan en puntos de interés de pies a cabeza, dónde el escote aunque predomine no sea el protagonista.
Cuando imaginé el tema del glam social, imaginé un evento algo sobrio como las galas empresariales, la fiesta de inauguración de un congreso o una vinada dónde la sobriedad de la vestimenta va dirigida hacia un lujo silencioso.
If there is a dress code for a gala, black and white will always be the best ally, a bit of minimalism and simplicity can make the natural features stand out; black to stylise the shapes, white so that the eyes are kept on points of interest from head to toe, where the neckline is not the protagonist, even if it predominates.
When I imagined the theme of social glam, I imagined a rather sober event such as a corporate galas, the opening party of a congress or a wine party where the sobriety of the clothes is directed towards a silent luxury.
Mi vestido es un clásico corte imperio con escote en v de una tela muy ligera, con tacones con una altura moderada, este estilo de vestidos es muy versátil para crear balances, en mi caso suaviza el volumen de las caderas, enfatiza hombros y mantiene la parte superior con un volumen proporcional creando el efecto deseado.
My dress is a classic empire cut with a v-neckline in a very light fabric, with heels with a moderate height, this style of dress is very versatile to create balances, in my case it softens the volume of the hips, emphasizes shoulders and keeps the top with a proportional volume creating the desired effect.

Para esta ocasión jugué con tonos ahumados que almendraran más mi mirada un smookie muy al borde externo del ojo y más claro con tonos satinados hacía la parte interna del ojo.
Como en toda gala vas a tener muchos flashes constantes así que decidí usar una base matizadora que me diera un efecto muy pulido y además resaltar algunas zonas con un poco de iluminador en los puntos que pudieran captar la luz a mi favor.
Soy muy fan de los labiales en tonos vinos para este tipo de eventos, se vuelven más favorables al transcurrir las horas y los de larga duración especiales para no dejar rastros en la copa.
For this occasion I played with smoky tones to make my look more almond-shaped, a smookie very close to the outer edge of the eye and lighter with satin tones towards the inner part of the eye.
As in any gala you are going to have a lot of constant flashes so I decided to use a mattifying base to give me a very polished effect and also highlight some areas with a bit of highlighter in the spots that could catch the light in my favour.
I'm a big fan of wine-toned lipsticks for this kind of event, they become more favourable as the hours go by and long-wearing lipsticks especially for not leaving traces on the glass.

Para el cabello decidí dejarlo suelto, con ondas en las puntas que se vuelven tan ligeras pero como tengo un patrón de iluminación en tonos cobrizos decidí que tuvieran su momento de brillar además de brindarme un poco más de jovialidad.
For the hair I decided to leave it loose, with waves at the ends that become so light but as I have a coppery lighting pattern I decided to let them have their moment to shine as well as give me a little more playfulness.

Challenge within the challenge
Aunque para esta semana, el reto era algo que hago con mayor frecuencia por compromisos sociales y estaba cómoda de cierta manera, el desgaste físico por lo activa que ha sido la semana y el calor me hicieron dudar de la sesión de fotos, pero deje fluir y recordé que mejor hecho que perfecto, trataré de darle más oportunidades a mi cuerpo de descansar y mantenerse saludable.
Although for this week, the challenge was something I do more often for social engagements and I was comfortable in a way, the physical wear and tear from the active week and the heat made me hesitate to do the shoot, but I let it flow and remembered that better done than perfect, I will try to give my body more opportunities to rest and stay healthy.
