Es mi primera vez participando en la iniciativa del mes de esta comunidad, y motivo a eso, me siento muy entusiasmada y alegre, ya que, es una forma de devolverle a la comunidad las oportunidades que me ha dado, al dejar que este sea un libro donde puedo conocerlos, pero, sobre todo, conocer mi propio estilo, lo que me gusta y lo que no.
It is my first time participating in this community's initiative of the month, and for that reason, I feel very excited and happy, since it is a way of giving back to the community the opportunities it has given me, by letting this be a book where I can get to know them, but, above all, get to know my own style, what I like and what I don't.
Desde hace días, quería ser partícipe de esta iniciativa, sin embargo, no fue hasta hoy que me senté y mis dedos empezaron a moverse en el teclado, sinónimo de creatividad y profundidad en el tema en cuestión. Para mí, los estampados es una forma de ser uno mismo, jugar con las texturas, ser curioso, atreverse a cosas nuevas y adentrarse más al manejo de telas, emociones y vestimentas, considero que, la moda es una forma de decir, sin hablar, lo que es uno, lo que se lleva por dentro.
For days, I wanted to be a part of this initiative, however, it was not until today that I sat down and my fingers began to move on the keyboard, synonymous with creativity and depth in the subject in question. For me, prints are a way of being oneself, playing with textures, being curious, daring to new things and getting deeper into the handling of fabrics, emotions and clothing, I believe that fashion is a way of saying, without speaking , what is one, what is carried inside.
La mayoría de mis camisas son estampadas, por no decir todas, me encantan los estampados, diría que el 90% son estampadas, así de mucho me gusta. Muy poco uso unicolor, pues lo siento un poco aburrido. Desde rayas, flores, círculos, paisajes, animal print, en mi closet tengo de todo un poco, pero mi estampado favorito sería el floreado.
Most of my shirts are patterned, if not all, I love patterns, I would say 90% are patterned, I like it that much. I rarely use unicolor, because I feel it's a bit boring. Por otro lado, a la hora de combinar los estampados soy muy cautelosa, intento siempre ser reservada, ya que no quiero parecer un payaso, los estampados tienden a sobrecargar el outfit si no se usan con precaución. Es entonces, donde trato que la otra prenda a combinar sea unicolor, que en la mayoría de las veces es jeans.
On the other hand, when it comes to combining prints I am very cautious, I always try to be reserved, since I don't want to look like a clown, prints tend to overload the outfit if they are not used carefully. It is then, where I try that the other garment to combine is unicolor, which in most cases is jeans.
Cuando es un enterizo floreado, entonces lo combino con zapatos o sandalias super sencillas, y casi pocos accesorios, para que de esta forma sea el estampado el punto focal, sin robarle protagonismo. De la misma manera, si se trata de algún pantalón estampados, como el que pueden observar en el collage, entonces utilizo una camisa unicolor.
When it's a floral jumpsuit, then I combine it with super simple shoes or sandals, and almost few accessories, so that in this way the print is the focal point, without taking center stage. In the same way, if it is about some patterned pants, like the one you can see in the collage, then I use a unicolor shirt.
