Llevaba días queriendo unirme a las iniciativas de esta comunidad, pero entre una cosa y otra, al final, los días se me terminaban pasando y las fechas topes de los concursos tocaban la puerta. Sin embargo, me percaté de que todavía estaba a tiempo de unirme a la Iniciativa del color del mes y como el negro es uno de mis colores favoritos para vestir, simplemente me dije: ¡ay que hacer esto!

Desde que tengo uso de razón el color negro ha sido mi favorito a la hora de seleccionar prendas para vestir. Me agrada no solo por el hecho de que va bastante bien con mi tono de piel pálido, sino porque es un color que combina a la perfección con otros colores, además de que nos hace lucir bastante elegantes y formales. Yo particularmente soy fanática del estilo total black, pero a veces suelo combinar prendas negras con otras de colores bastante llamativos porque luce bastante genial. Entonces bien, a continuación les contaré un poco sobre aquellas prendas de color negro que son súper básicas para mí y como suelo combinarlas la mayoría de las veces.

I've finally made my first publication for Hive's Red Carpet!

I had been wanting to join the initiatives of this community for days, but between one thing and another, in the end, the days ended up passing me by and the contest deadlines were knocking on the door. However, I realized that there was still time to join the Color of the Month Initiative and since black is one of my favorite colors to wear, I simply said to myself: I have to do this!.

For as long as I can remember, black has been my favorite color when it comes to selecting clothes to wear. I like it not only because it goes quite well with my pale skin tone, but because it is a color that combines perfectly with other colors, plus it makes us look quite elegant and formal. I'm particularly a fan of the total black style, but sometimes I usually combine black clothes with others of quite flashy colors because it looks pretty cool. So, next I will tell you a little bit about those black garments that are super basic for me and how I usually combine them most of the times.

Un básico que no puede faltar en mi clóset, y creo que en el clóset de nadie, son los skinny jeans negros. Yo particularmente, tengo varios, unos en tela de jean y otros en una tela un poco más strech e incluso tengo los rasgados en la rodilla, pero estos últimos suelo dejarlos más para ocasiones informales. El clásico pantalón negro es un súper básico que pude servir para cualquier ocasión. A mí me encanta combinarlos con otras prendas coloridas que no suelo usar normalmente como rosado, por ejemplo. Mi segunda prenda favorita es esta falda negra corte alto que la he usado para ocasiones informales, pero sinceramente me gusta usarla más para ocasiones un poco más formales. Combinándola con una linda camisa y unos zapatos altos, obtengo un look semi-formal bastante agradable.

A basic that can't be missing in my closet, and I don't think in anyone's closet, are the black skinny jeans. I particularly have several, some in jean fabric and others in a little more stretch fabric and I even have the ripped ones at the knee, but the latter I usually leave them more for casual occasions. The classic black pants are a super basic that can be used for any occasion. I love to combine them with other colorful garments that I don't normally wear like pink, for example. My second favorite garment is this black high cut skirt that I have used for casual occasions, but honestly I like to use it more for more formal occasions. Combining it with a nice shirt and some high heels, I get a pretty nice semi-formal look.

Un vestido negro es también una prenda clásica y fundamental en el clóset de cualquier mujer. Yo tengo algunos, pero mi favorito es este. Si bien no es completamente negro, pues tiene unas figuras en color blanco, son precisamente esas figuras en particular lo que me hacen amar por completo a este vestido. Dragones y algunas mandalas son las figuras que resaltan en este vestido y precisamente por eso es que me parece tan único y particular.

A mí me gusta combinarlo con unos zapatos altos de color de arena que guardo en mi armario, aunque con sandalias negras altas también luce bastante lindo. Incluso, para ocasiones menos formales, lo he llegado a combinar con mis converse corte bajo de color negro.

A black dress is also a classic and fundamental garment in any woman's closet. I have a few, but my favorite is this one. Although it is not completely black, as it has some figures in white, it is precisely those figures in particular that make me love this dress completely. Dragons and some mandalas are the figures that stand out in this dress and that is precisely why I find it so unique and particular.

I like to pair it with some sand-colored high heels that I keep in my closet, although with tall black sandals it also looks quite cute. I've even paired it with my black low cut converse for less formal occasions.

Hubo una temporada en donde los outfits con kimonos marcaron tendencia. De hecho, una de mis amigas se dedicó a confeccionar los suyos propios para vender y, entre los muchos que creó, me regaló uno a mí. Esta sin duda es una de mis prendas favoritas porque le da un toque perfecto a cualquier outfit, aunque siento que aquí estoy haciendo un poco de trampa, ya que pareciera ser que el color predominante es blanco, pero en realidad se inclina más hacia un tono gris claro...así que, creo no estar rompiendo con la negra del color negro. Mi combinación favorita usando esta prenda es simplemente un jean corte alto de color negro y alguna camiseta sin mangas o un croptop de algún color oscuro como vinotito, por ejemplo, y mis botas negras o vinotinto...¡Dios mío, no tienen idea de cómo adoro esa combinación!

Recuerdo que en un principio esta prenda se me hacía complicada para combinar, pues sentía que las prendas que solía seleccionar no hacían un buen contraste con el estampado del kimono. Ahí fue que me di cuenta de que no todos los colores oscuros combinaban tan bien con él y que la forma de la camiseta (con o sin mangas) también influía bastante.

There was a season when kimono outfits were a trend. In fact, one of my friends made her own kimonos to sell and, among the many she created, she gave one to me. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite garments because it gives a perfect touch to any outfit, although I feel like I'm cheating a bit here, since it seems that the predominant color is white, but in reality it leans more towards a light gray tone...so, I think I'm not breaking with the black of the color black. My favorite combination wearing this garment is simply a black high-cut jean and a tank top or crop top in a dark color like vinotito, for example, and my black or vinotinto boots...My God, you have no idea how much I love that combination!.

I remember that at the beginning this garment was complicated to combine, because I felt that the clothes I used to select did not make a good contrast with the print of the kimono. That's when I realized that not all dark colors combined so well with it and that the shape of the shirt (with or without sleeves) also influenced a lot.

Y bien, este ha sido un corto Top 3 de algunas de mis prendas favoritas en color negro y prendas que considero necesarias. Realmente quería hacer un vídeo para así poder compartir más prendas y más combinaciones, pero el factor tiempo no ha sido mi aliado durante estos últimos días. Sin embargo, aproveché que, casualmente, tenía algunas fotografías de algunos outfits con prendas en color negro...y bueno, no podía dejar pasar la ocasión.

So, this has been a short Top 3 of some of my favorite black garments and garments that I consider necessary. I really wanted to make a video so I could share more garments and more combinations, but the time factor has not been my ally during these last days. However, I took advantage of the fact that, by chance, I had some pictures of some outfits with black garments...and well, I had to take advantage of it.
