How are you doing, fashionistas? 💕✨
I’m really happy to bring you a new post featuring a cool little outfit I wore on December 28th for a freestyle exhibition 💃🔥.
To give you a bit of context, it was a performance where several dancers showcased the different dance styles we work with 🎶. With that in mind, the first thing that crossed my mind was: “You need to be comfortable enough” 😌.
Since I didn’t have many pants options, I went with the one that’s the most comfortable for me to dance in 👖✨. For the top, I chose a short-sleeve black crop top with a white print. Because the base of the look was all black, I wanted to add something eye-catching, so I used an animal print scarf 🐆 I had bought and styled it as a belt, paired with a silver chain ⛓️✨. The accessories were also silver to keep the look cohesive, and to finish it off, I wore my go-to black boots 🖤👢.
As for my hair, I knew I didn’t want it loose and sticking to my face while dancing 💨😅, so I went with a high ponytail and left just two small front strands to avoid looking too flat 💁♀️. Little detail here 👀: those strands didn’t bother me at all.To complete the look, I kept the makeup pretty neutral 💄✨, and it looked flawless in the photos.
Honestly, I felt comfortable, confident, and very true to my style 🖤🔥. This outfit allowed me to move freely, enjoy every moment of the performance, and truly feel like myself on stage. Sometimes it’s not about the most elaborate look, but about what makes you feel good and supports you in doing what you love 💫. I would definitely wear this outfit a thousand times over 💃✨.
