Vengo a desfilar por Hive´s Red Carpet, esta vez participando en este concurso (Pero sin derecho a premios, jajaja) igual ha sido muy divertido poder recordar cómo era la moda en mi época.
Nací en 1978, quiere decir que para los años 90 tenía 12 años, y para el 98 ya tenía 20, lo cierto es que a mis 13 años me inscribieron en un internado Adventista y estuve alli desde mis 13 hasta los 18, justo la época en que una adolescente podría disfrutar mucho de la moda, en mi caso no fue así.
Al estar interna, primero por cuestiones religiosas el tipo de vestimenta que se usaba era muy recatada, sólo vestidos o faldas por debajo de la rodilla, a mis 14 años yo usaba "Fondos" ,¿qué adolescente usa algo así? , pero a mi me obligaban a usarlo, por otro lado mi mamá acababa de morir de cancer y mi familia pasaba por una situación muy dificil, así que la ropa de mi closet se basaba en lo que podía agarrar de las cajas de ayuda humanitaria que llevaban los religiosos a las aldeas indigenas, así que por esto, justo mis años 90 fueron totalmente negados a la moda.
Ya al salir del internado, cuando fui a la universidad, empezó a cambiar todo, pero estaban llegando los 2000 y la moda empezó a cambiar y esta época si que la disfruté.
Ahora bien, hubo programas de tv clásicos de los 90, cómo Friends o The Nanny, que aunque vi poco, si pude ver cómo se vestian. Así que para participar en este reto decidí recrear outfits basados en el estilo de THE NANNY, además siento que me identifico con ella, no ´por su voz pero si por su forma de ser algo loca, desinhibida y extravagante.
Comencemos por el primer look.
Para este outfit escogí una falda negra corta, una blusa fuscia y una cinta para el cabello rosada, unos tacones negros, algo que era muy frecuente en los outfits de los 90.
Para el segundo Look
Para este outfit busqué un estilo con estampados, muy frecuente en los looks mostrados por the Nanny, quien siempre llevaba lunares, rayas o estampados, sus faldas con algun leggins abajo, botas negras, y sobre todo blazers o chaquetas de cuero.
En este caso usé una falda con estampado de rayas negras, grises y blancas, un leggins negro debajo de la falda , una blusa estraple con una chaqueta de cuero negra, los acompañé con tacones negros y un peinado alborotado muy noventero.
Sin duda los 90 fueron unos años especiales, en mi caso me perdí de muchas cosas pues en el internado donde sólo salía los diciembres y vacaciones escolares, no había televisión y realmente todo lo que se relacionaba con la moda lo hacian ver como un pecado. Si conocen algo sobre los "Amish", pues algo así viví.
Sin embargo ya de adulta he podido hacer las pases con mi closet y ahora llevo un estilo muy bohemio, pero esto se los contaré en otro post.

But I was forced to wear it, on the other hand my mother had just died of cancer and my family was going through a very difficult situation, so the clothes in my closet were based on what I could grab from the boxes of humanitarian aid that the religious took to the indigenous villages, so for this reason, just my 90's were totally denied to fashion.
When I got out of boarding school, when I went to college, everything started to change, but the 2000's were coming and fashion started to change and I really enjoyed this time.
Now, there were classic TV shows from the 90's, like Friends or The Nanny, that although I didn't watch much, I could see how they dressed. So to participate in this challenge I decided to recreate outfits based on the style of THE NANNY, plus I feel that I identify with her, not 'for her voice but for her way of being a little crazy and uninhibited and extravagant.
Let's start with the first look.
For this outfit I chose a short black skirt, a fuscia blouse and a pink headband, black heels, something that was very common in the 90's outfits.
For the second look
For this outfit I looked for a style with prints, very frequent in the looks shown by the Nanny, who always wore polka dots, stripes or prints, her skirts with some leggings underneath, black boots, and above all blazers or leather jackets.
In this case I wore a black, gray and white striped print skirt, a black leggings under the skirt, a strapless blouse with a black leather jacket, I paired them with black heels and a tousled hairstyle very noventero.
Undoubtedly the 90's were special years, in my case I missed a lot of things because in the boarding school where I only went out on holidays and school vacations, there was no TV and really everything related to fashion was seen as a sin. If you know anything about the "Amish", I lived something like that.
However, as an adult I've been able to make the transition with my closet and now I wear a very bohemian style, but I'll tell you about that in another post.
