After a while, skating was banned due to many injuries and many deaths in many cities across America. Then the skate fans decided to skate secretly or "illegally". After a while, skate had won the world and many producers were trying to improve the quality of skate by changing the material from which the wheels were made. As the quality of skate became much better, the creators of boards began to multiply.
After a while, in 1976 in Florida, the first skate park was built and later many more were built all over America. Wes Humpston and Jim Muir were the first to launch a successful line of boards with Dogtown graphics. A little later, almost all skateboard manufacturers graphically put the bottom of the board.
Skating in empty pools was very popular and as a result of the best technology, skaters were able to make aerial figures. But later due to financial problems the skate '' died once again. A hardcore organization remained in skateboarding and built ramps and a half pipe in the backyards after most skatepark closed. In 1984, vertical skating was replaced by streetstyle skating. The ramps began to gain a reputation. Powell Peralta created his first skate video called "Bones Brigade" thanks to the creative talents of CR Stecyk and Stacy Peralta. The video presented the whole team of skaters and helped the skateboard to a new level of popularity. Infinite producers appeared and skateboarding was dynamically reborn for the third time. Many vertical champions emerged such as Tony Hawk, Christian Hosoi, Lance Mountain and Neil Blender. As well as street champions such as Mark Gonzales, Natas Kaupas and Tommy Guerrero who took ollie to new heights. There was also freestyle skateboarding where Rodney Mullen sponsored all the competitions.
At the end of the decade skateboarding turned to street skating and while vertical skating was neglected. A number of professional skaters decided to leave the big producers and started their own companies. One of the first skaters to do this was Steve Rocco who started World Industries. Over time the personality of the skating world changed and a new generation of skateboarding was born. The attention of this generation was focused on ollies and other tricks and they moved to a completely different "behavior".
