Getting out in the mountain air
I just got back from Bridal Veil Falls, which is a waterfall up in Provo Canyon here in Utah. I knew it was going to be crowded along the trail and on the bridge where you can view the waterfall and get in the water. I wasn't expecting it to be as busy as it was though.
The main parking lot was full and so were most of the other parking areas a ways away from the trailhead. The trailhead is a park area with fire pits for BBQing and hanging out with your family or friends. All of them were full of people and there were tons of people on the trail heading up to the waterfall.
Once I got passed the waterfall and continued up the trail, it started to lighten up with people. I had to get off my OneWheel when I was crossing in front of the waterfall because it was just a mess of people hanging out on the bridge.
I was able to get a selfie on the bridge with my wife though. I have a lot of grey in my beard. I am either getting old, or becoming a wizard. Hopefully I am becoming a wizard because I have always liked magic.
Here is a video that I took with my GoPro Hero8. The new GoPro software creates a highlight reel of the footage, which is only about 1 minute, and I just picked some music that was on the app. Hopefully the quality is decent because I uploaded it to YouTube from my phone. It says that it is uploaded in 1080p, but it didn't look like it when I viewed it after the upload. I think next time I will just send it to my computer after I edit the video and then upload it to YouTube. The GoPro app only works on mobile, which is kind of retarded, and I cancelled my Creative Cloud subscription, so I don't have Adobe Premier Pro anymore.
Once I get more comfortable on the OneWheel, I will be bringing my nice camera along to get some pictures, but until then, you all are going to have to deal with my cell phone pictures. I need to practice taking pictures with my cell phone because I am not used to being so limited on what I can do with a camera.
Well, I hope that you enjoyed the pictures and the short video. I can't wait to go other cool places on my OneWheel. Especially now that the season is changing and the mountains are going to look awesome with the fall colors. Stay tuned for the next adventure.
