I found a piece of wood on the farm that looked like a tiny ledge and I put it into the ground to try a trick over that wood. Yep, I perfectly landed my Ollie over the wood and then I told Chris Lawrence I wanted to try a Kickflip over the wood. In my mind, I could do my Kickflip over the wood first try so I just started to ride with my board towards the wood.
My visit to Fred C. Andersen Skate Camp
i was fortunate to be invited to skate the ramps in the woods at the boy scout camp near my house. it felt like a special place. very secluded in the woods, the ramps were rebuilt by a couple people from old skateparks in the area that were taken down.

Saturday was the perfect skateboarding day! Lots of sun, great temperature and empty skatepark thanks to a national holiday celebration event!
