Visiting Ademafia Institute

I went visiting Ademafia Institute on Santo Amaro, among other things we did, we took a look on his Odysee Account so I could teach Ademar how to finally use it an you can expect a lot of exclusiveness from then here on Odysee.

Ademar does lots of social work and YouTube never gave him a penny for their videos that are known in the whole country/world, he is an awesome guy (so awesome that he once arrested a thief while filming while skating must see) the income earned on Odysee will obviously help all those kids on the video, it already are, so SUPPORT, BOOST and TIP this channel

A little about Ademafia:

Ademafia Institute from the Favela do Santo Amaro is a reference in attitude and social transformation

Coming from the Santo Amaro community, the collective Ademafia won the country through the street skate scene in Rio de Janeiro. Its creator and main articulator is Ademar Lucas, known as Luquinhas, he creates from the favela that is found in Catete, a neighborhood bordering the south and center of Rio de Janeiro.

Six years ago the collective started its YouTube channel, portraying the reality of Luquinhas, skating across the country, always interacting with urban culture through the places he passes, giving voice to characters who would hardly find any other vehicle to manifest, as homeless people, simple workers of our daily lives, talented artists and skaters.

Ademafia's relationship with music has also been strong since its creation, when in parallel to the channel it started the “Baile do Ademar”. The ball became one of the biggest street parties in Rio de Janeiro, presenting diverse talents and even putting 30,000 people dancing all night at Praça XV in downtown Rio.

Through its social media accounts and YouTube channel, the collective Ademafia has reached an expressive level of engagement with its followers and has maintained in the last months approximately 140 families being assisted monthly in the Santo Amaro community with basic food and hygiene products during the covid-19 pandemic. This same force of engagement contributed to the construction of the first skate park inside Favela da Maré, something that will now also happen within your community. Also in Santo Amaro, the collective maintains projects such as “O Natal dos Langos” (event for the distribution of toys and food at Christmas) and “Tropinha do Santo Amaro” (skate school for children in the community).

In an unpretentious and charismatic way, Luquinhas leverages activations for campaigns by brands such as Kenner, Starter, Converse Brasil among others. He can be seen not only on his internet channel but also in lectures, workshops and also on TV, where he talks about his projects, life and collective trajectory, as in the documentaries “5 years of Ademafia”, “Ademafia in Barcelona”, "Ademafia na China" and "Santo Amaro Era Skatista" aired on Canal Off, among other programs and articles in different vehicles.
